Bill quickly identified our needs and gave us a reasonable quote. Measurements went smoothly and installation was efficient by Remzi. We would definitely recommend Carpet Palace again for their decent price points, professional staff and quality work and product. We installed very nice carpeting to a very large basement area as well as runners on our 5 flights of stairs and 2 landings.

The stairs, hall and all bedroom carpet was replaced by new carpet on the stairs and hall, with laminate in the bedrooms

First rate service provided by The Carpet Palace, Norval, ON!
We recently had The Carpet Palace remove older wall-to-wall carpeting, plus original 63 year old 1-3/4" wide oak hardwood strip flooring throughout our living room/dining room/main hall/side hall/stairs/landing and replace with new 1/2" plywood subfloor, topped with 5" wide x 1/2" thick hickory Canadian-made engineered hardwood flooring. Also replaced original baseboard with new current-profile baseboard plus shoe mould.
We opted to go with new replacement hardwood vs refinishing the original hardwood, as we wanted a strengthened, squeakless new floor with a current-looking wider board than the original narrow strip board. Also, we had heard from others that replacing with new hardwood is as cost-effective, sometimes more-so, than refinishing the original hardwood.
Our entire installation (removals/replacement) was completed proficiently and skillfully in less than two full days. The flooring crew was diligent, quiet-spoken, pleasant. They arrived at our home both days sharply at 7:30 a.m. and they finished up in good time both afternoons.
We chose The Carpet Palace for our project, for the most part, based on the immediate level of confidence and comfort we had on first meeting with Bill at their store/showroom and, soon after, having received his competitive written quotation. A level that easily exceeded our experience during prior visits to three other flooring stores in our area.
Bill proved excellent to work with all along the way. We found him to be likeable, knowledgeable, patient, accommodating, consistently responsive (quotation, email/phone communication, scheduling of work). George was also a pleasure to liaise with upon completion of the work.
In summary, our flooring project came off without a hitch. Excellent service and quality of materials/workmanship, installation started on schedule/completed on time. There were no surprises and no disappointments with the installation, no extra costs above and beyond the quotation.
We are delighted with our new hardwood floor and it is our sincere pleasure to offer our highest recommendation in favour of The Carpet Palace for similar work.

Long overdue review -

We had carpet runners installed on four staircases, and both the service and product were outstanding. You won't find better customer service anywhere else. I would recommend them to anyone and I would definitely go with them again in the future.

We purchased a runner for our stairs at carpet palace on including- to say that we are happy is an understatement. Walking into the store we were promptly greeted and attended to
We told the young man helping us what we were looking for, he was very knowledgable and was able to offer us several suggestions.
Long story short we are beyond happy, the installation crew were very professional and even cleaned up afterwards
Later in the evening the owner called us to ensure that we were happy- this is unheard of
We also purchased an awesome area rug for our living room

I went to several stores and finally settled on Carpet Palace. They instilled confidence from the minute I walked in the door. Bill was patient - when I changed my mind a couple of times before finally making a decision. They accommodated my schedule of when to do the work and the pricing was better than the other quotes I received. It would be great if their installers were friendlier but the work was done quickly and excellently. And I love my new hardwood floor.
