We ordered a bathroom cabinet and a vanity. Stan asked for half the money down before he started the job and half when he will be done. We agreed. I sent him the name of the stain he needed to use and he promised to apply two coats. He applied only one, which made the colour different than we asked. The top was supposed to be quartz Almond Rocca, which he wasn’t able to find. In exchange he sent us a picture which came close to what we had in mind. Needless to say the final product had a completely different kind of texture and colour. We tried to talk to him about correcting these mistakes and he initially agreed, but then he changed his mind, because we tried to talk with him in person. His response to that was highly rude and ended with “take your business elsewhere ”. Because he initially agreed to correct the mistakes we gave him the full amount of money we agreed prior to this.
