Bishops Windows & Doors Ltd

Had kitchen and bathroom vanities supplied and installed by Bishops windows and doors and it was a complete nightmare. The guy that installed them should be nowhere near finished houses. The cupboards were installed crooked. They are so out of square that the doors do not cover the opening. Bishops solution was to install the doors crooked to cover the openings but now the doors do not line up withy the crown molding above or below the door. The out of square cabinets also put one side of the fridge panels out of plumb so that the opening is 1 inch wider at the top than it is at the bottom. The mitres on my light rail and crown moulding are so sloppy that a butter knife can be inserted into the gaps. After the first installation I had 3 pages of issues. Now, after 10 months and 5 return visits( not including the 2 visits they were scheduled to come and didn't show without out so much as a phone call) more than half my original issues are still there. There was damage done to my walls at an estimated cost of $600 to repair. I had a piece of Boston header and door casing broken, and hardwood floor cut into with a saw. This is a brand new house, and on their 4th return visit I was told I was being too "nit picky". I could go on for pages about all the issues and corners that were cut on this job but instead I will say spend your hard earned money elsewhere and avoid at absolutely all costs.

We had bishops install our kitchen cabinets, windows and doors in our new home. The cabinets are beautiful but the were installed crooked, one cabinet fell off the wall because it was not nailed to studs. These things all got fixed but should not have happened in the first place. We had no issues with the windows we had installed. We had a patio door installed with built in blinds, when they installed it, somehow a seal broke on it and it got foggy on the inside and they had to replace it (which took a long time for them to come here to do).
