They installed a geo thermal system for me and have done at least two years work of maintenance on it for me.The guys are fantastic! They're courteous, clean, watch what they're doing, very polite, come when you need them to, and watch their language in the house. I can't say enough good things about them.

They put in a ground source geo-thermal system for the heat pump two years ago for our large house, and they hadn’t done too many of those before. Prior to that they serviced the furnace regularly for us. Any time there’s a problem (and there have been many), they’re here quickly. We told them that we’re happy to show off our heat pump to anyone looking to get one. The pump is in the basement and several people have looked at it.
I want to give them a 10+! VERY reliable and responsible, they're there any time you want. They're no nonsense people who don’t give you any fancy talk. They're also very hands on and know exactly what they're doing.

I shopped around a bit, looking at other companies, but they matched the prices. They replaced my furnace and afterwards you couldn’t even tell they were there. The furnace is working great now.

I knew Roger, the owner, because he used to be a salesman at the company I worked for. I had someone come in to check my old furnace and they shut it down that day. Also the AC quit working, and it was in the throes of the worst heating seasons, so that’s why I called them. They were A1, top notch, from their initial approach (giving me data on what he had to offer, prices, equipment warranty). The day the guys came they gave me the red carpet treatment-put down rubber matting with top on it (my basement is finished so they put the carpeting down), took out old heating ducts and attachments to the furnace. There was not a scratch on the wall. They disposed of it all, relocated AC to where I wanted it (way more accessible). The old one was in the backyard when it should have been in the alleyway where I wasn’t using the space. They even patched all the holes in the wall where the ducts went through. I am very satisfied with them.

I've been a proud customer of Carleton Refrigeration Heating & Air Conditioning since 2005. Over those years, I have always received "very professional and friendly service" from them.
One of the things I especially like is the technician rolls out a carpet from the front door right to the workplace. This carplet contains any dirt that could possibly be tracked in, thus leaving my floors clean. When their finished the job they clean up after themselves, and that's a big plus. As most people know a lot of trades people leave their mess behind. Carleton Refigeration's service technicians make sure the place is clean before they leave. Also, any question that I might have, have always been answered in a very pleasant and professional manner. I would highy recommend this company.

We had the privilege of doing business with the Company 3 years ago when we installed new air conditiong and also a new furnace in our home. When we began dealing with one of the owners, Roger Holmes, we were sceptical of some of the information we were given, and questioning things such as `how can a furnace be too big for a home, i.e. wouldn`t it heat better if it was meant for a bigger home`` etc. It was quite a learning experience for us. The gentleman was so wonderful and patient as we asked so many questions and explanations about things. Finally we made a decision to trust the expertise he claimed and we have never looked back. We had always had so many problems with `cold areas` in our open concept home. It would heat up in the loft but the main floor was still cool. The furnace would run on and on in the winter just to get some areas comfortable It was an ongoing headache for the first 12 years we owned this new home.
What we found out was this. Not only were these people amazing to deal with. They treated our home with `white glove`care as they went about their installation.The employees were so pleasant and it was a very comfortable experience having this company in our home. To be clear, we knew nothing about this company, other that we had seen their truck driving in our area in Kanata a few times and had made note of their name and contacted them. After dealing with the owner, Roger Holmes, and their staff, we have never looked back.
All the doubt we had about our furnace being too big for this house. All our questioning about how it could be possible that it was a smaller size we needed has been put to rest.
We now have a much better system running in our home. We finally have a home that is heated in all areas without the constant hot/cold spots all over the house because of the open concept. .We don`t hear that noise of the furnace going on and off all day long. The equipment installed is very quiet, runs evenly at a low speed most of the time, unless we have had to temp down when we are away and it needs a boost to get a gap of temperature ajusted when we get back. It automatically knows to jump into a higher settting to reach the desired temp again once we get home and then it is just wonderful, quiet and cozy.
Our experience was just as great with our air conditoner installation. Though we had not had as many issues in that area, we jneeded a new one, and it runs perfect!
We are very happy. If there is one thing we would really want to tell someone looking for a business that has not only great equipment for heating and cooling, it would be about how much we enjoy their friendly, competent, ongoing service that we take part in. Being a bit of a neat freak, we are so happy with how they treat our home when they come in, not walking through with dirty shoes or boots, not puttting their tools on our hardwood floors etc. We have never looked back and highly recommend this company. We have referred new clients to this company, friends and family alike, so we have put our name on their company with those that trust us.
Hopefully this in some way expresses how strongly we feel about this company and we can't say enough about Roger Holmes himself and how thankful we are to have noticed the `truck`in our area!

A very Professional company. Courteous and professional installers.Would highly recomend for all furnace and air conditioning needs.Sales professionals did not try and sell me goods and servcies I did not require.Very understanding towards our budget.

Carleton installed a Furnace, Air Conditioner and Air Exchanger. I was impressed with the sales and service team. Good knowledge and professional. Products seem to be working good. They are very punctual and do the work in a professional and timely manner.

During a big storm our house was flooded by a sewer backup and therefore everything in our basement had to be replaced. I contacted several companies about replacing the furnace, hot water tank, HVAC system and fireplace. Carleton Refrigeration not only provided the best price but also the quickest response time. They completed the job as per their quoted schedule & price and left the place clean and tidy. As well they explained how everything worked and followed up at a later date to make sure everything was running smoothly.

Very clean and very efficient. Very friendly staff. The best part was that they didn't leave a mess and cleaned up after themselves, the work was also completed in a timely manner. Overall we were very satisfied.
