Lino installation

We had Vinton Carpet & Flooring Co install linoleum in our kitchen..

Since the width of the entire floor was more than 12 feet, a seam was needed to add an additional foot. They decided to do the seam by our kitchen sink. After 2 years the seam start splitting in several areas and opening up. We call the owner of Vinton but he would not repair or replace the floor.

We had to eventually replace the whole floor with another lino product. We contacted another company but this time the seam was put in another area where there was little traffic or chance of moisture getting into the cracks. We still have this floor and it is 12 years old.

Installation of carpet for apartment buildings

We were very disatissfied with Vinton Carpets services and industrial carpet installation. The company didnot install the carpets properly which cost us extra time and money to get them reinstalled. When installing the carpet, the installers didnot lay the underlay properly and there were air bubbles in the carpet. At first, Vinton Carpets said they would not fix the carpets because we bought the carpets at a discounted price and there were no guarantees or warantees with final sale items. When we told Vinton Carpets we were going to take the matter to the Better Business Bureau, they then reconcilled to fix the installing because it was the installers fault not doing the job properly. In the long run, the carpets deteriorated after 2 years and we were obligated to re-install the carpets at our expense. The quality of the carpets were terrible and we definately did not want to buy from Vinton Carpets again. We felt we were ripped off and incurred extra expense when we thought we had found a good bargain.

Basement reno

One stop shopping. We were able to choose our carpet and tile in minutes. The salesperson checked to see if stock was good while we waited. It was out of stock at the supplier and we did not want to wait so we just went with a shade ligher. We had them install too and everying was beautiful and clean when the installers left. Will return when I replace the tile in my kitchen.
