After interviewing and getting a quotes from a number of different contractors we chose Homes by Anacleto Design.

On our rental property we wanted a really old 2nd floor sun-room removed and replaced with an outdoor deck; the front porch to be rebuilt; outdoor stairs to the basement reconstructed; the siding of the house to be redone; A major face-lift to the front of the rental property.
From the get-go it was very easy working with Gerry. He provided us with a quote/estimate that was very clear, reasonable and detailed. More importantly when the job was complete he had stayed within his estimate. There were no unforeseen or hidden charges. The job was exceptional well done within budget and ON TIME: We had worked with many other contractors in the past and this was a refreshing first!

Gerry communicated with us clearly and efficiently each day as the job progressed. He would text, email and send-us pictures of the work in progress. This saved us a lot of time in terms of visiting the property every day. He was very trustworthy. He number of suggestions to improve the design/layout that we were thankful for.
We were very pleased with the final outcome and we were glad that we chose Anacleto.

Anyone can finish a basement.....framing, drywall, maybe a bathroom.....all important, but it's having a design that meets your needs and checks off all the 'I wants' that's important. Anacleto Design and Homes by Anacleto Design took the time to understand our needs and came up with a design and finishes that was exactly what we wanted. Everything was explained in detail, followed up, and we are very happy with the result. A very functional, inviting basement! Job well done.....on time and budget.

In on time! Full new home renovation, 4 months promised and delivered. After care was great with small issues such as settling cracks in drywall repaired quickly and without delay. Had typically challenges with any first time renovation, such as going over budget but compared to other builds we have heard stories of ours was great.

We were making the switch from a wood-burning fireplace to gas, and we needed someone to move and attach our decorative mantle to its new spot around the gas stove and to tile the marble hearth and surround and do a bit of woodwork. Moving the mantle was a delicate job, and we are so lucky that Gerry was referred to us. The work was quickly and neatly done, and he took great care with our antique mantle. He was extremely easy-going while around the house (I work mainly from home, and some contractors don't always like having you around!), and he was also very reliable -- showed up when he said he would, sent emails when he said he would, etc. He also did a good job at explaining any options we had when it was time to make decisions. We would recommend him for jobs big and small and will be asking him back for other home renovation projects here.

Gerry and his team built a beautiful 5,000+ sqft house for me and my family. From the Lindsay doing the design and layout to the schedule and the communication from Gerry, our dream home was finished on time (8 months) and on budget. Since it went so smooth we are now thinking of building another house with the Anacleto Team!

When we returned from a year in Europe, we wanted to find a way to live efficiently in a small space just like we had over there. Gerry and Lindsay helped us every step of the way with creative design solutions and quality workmanship. Whereas other contractors we had dealt with in the past only seemed to know how to do things their way, Gerry and Lindsay really listened to our requirements and provided thoughtful feedback on options and alternatives. The project was finished on schedule and we realized our vision of creative living in a small space.

Gerry and Lindsey took our old Annex fixer-upper and did a fantastic re-design and a complete re-build to create a beautiful new home. They are wonderful to work with, are incredibly responsive, and perform all services (and provide all sub-trades) at the highest level of quality. I've recommended them to all of my friends who have any contracting, renovation or interior design needs.

The July’13 flash storm in Toronto destroyed our fully furnished bungalow basement. Gerry was referred to us by a mutual friend who said we would be completely satisfied with Homes by Anacleto. He led his excellent team to successfully complete this forced renovation. He lives by “the devil is in the details” so there were no surprises on costs and outcomes. Gerry and Lindsey provided the added value of their design expertise. We highly recommend this very professional and talented team.

Gerry and Lindsey made our large and extensive project very easy and stress free for my wife and I. I can not say how happy we are with the house that they designed and built for our growing family. I feel like I recommend them everyday to family, friends and anyone who is looking for a professional team who takes pride in their work !!
