Dave Jonescu Roofing

Dave did my roof several years ago. I left a message on Friday night about the missing shingles. Dave just showed up early in the afternoon on saturday and replaced the shingles He sacrificed his weekend for his customers. Amazing service.

Communication was not good from the start that should have been my warning. He added 5 new vents between my existing 5 vents and didn't center them, not even close. A small part of the sheathing came up leaving a hole in the roof I saw it and he said he would fix it but never did just shingled over the hole. The shingles on the one side of my house are crooked by about 5 inches. Regardless of the price its not worth the aggravation it isn't all bad but the things that are wrong are careless and frustrating.

My shingles are cracked and leaking-called 4 times in 1 week no call back-another roofer has given me a quote and demonstrated by sight poor quality of these 25 yr. shingles NO FOLLOW UP and I am in a mess in the ceiling area of a bedroom.

We sourced 3 companies for estimates to replace our worn out shingles. I was surprised at the wide range of estimates, a difference of $2,000 for the same job. We went with the lowest bid, Dave Jonescu roofing, confident as he had done work on other homes in the neighbourhood and they were happy with the results.

It was somewhat intimidating trying to choose the right colour of shingles, as it is something we'll have to live with for many years. Dave's suggestion was bang on. Dave was on site for the entire job. He and his crew worked very clean, I didn't find a single roofing nail left on the ground when they were complete.

Our new roof looks fantastic!!! I won't hesitate to recommend Dave Jonescu Roofing to family, friends, and neighbours.

Did my roof well initially but will not address many ongoing problems. We have called may times but Jonescu will not return calls despite numerous messages left. Does not honour his warrantee. This is a company with no integrity. Never use them!!!!
