I describe Ted at Empire is a get in, get out kind of hardwood floor installer. He came when he said he would but don't expect any extras. His pricing is mid-range. If you're stuck, he'll get the job done but if you want quality and attention to detail, I don't recommend him. My contractor recommended Empire but Ted did not come to see the job before installation day. As soon as he arrived the price per square foot went up by .50 due to 3 radiators. Some boards were damaged upon instal. All garbage was left on site including off cuts, and all cardboard boxes.
