Went to Blinds To Go to look at options for our bedrooms. I specifically asked for blackout blinds as the sun hits our bedroom window in the mornings. Although the sales rep seemed nice she only showed us 2 options in blackout. So I choose the one I liked more. The one option was wood shutters which is what we already had. Then she showed a sheer shade. She demonstrated the product by putting it against their window. It look like it would block sunlight. Decided to think about it for a few days and then went in and ordered the blinds. The blinds came in and my husband installed then and I was very excited. The next morning I cannot explain how little the blinds actually blocked the sun. My room was filled with sun light once again.. based on the cost and the fact we were assisted by a sales rep who only showed us maybe 2-3 option, made us feel like these were their only options for us, spending around 900 for 2 blinds .. I’m just frustrated and disappointed. I called the head office. No one could help and I called the store and they said I could but different blinds for a discount.. i can’t believe how awful the customer service is ... we were basically told we are stuck with these blinds now ..
if I had just ordered these online maybe I would understand it was our fault not knowing the product well but going into the store and trusting a rep is really didn’t help at all.. the blinds are made well but they are really strong against helping satisfy their customers. Wouldn’t trust them in the future.. their are other companies who would take back their product and actually help their existing customers. I don’t think they care because we have already paid. Not happy at all
