Latitude Countertops

just had the countertop installed and it couldn't have gone better. The installers were really nice guys, professional and neat. the workmanship was exceptional, seams are almost invisible. the whole job was very well done. This is the second time we have used Latitude for the Silestone counters, first time in 2008 the experience was every bit as good as now. Leslie, the coordinator, is excellent. Quick to respond and so patient, walking me through everything, reducing my stress. I definitely recommend people to give them a call first, they do not disappoint!

We did not buy the countertop from Latitude, but our supplier contracted them to install the countertop.
Farhad from Latitude did the install, and we are 100% pleased with his work.
Very professional, experienced, knowledgeable and meticulous.
I would recommend him to anybody.

Counter templating was very quick and efficient. The walls or our 56 year old wooden cottage are not perfect and the counters fit like a glove. The installers arrived on schedule and were courteous and efficient. They did a very professional job and I would highly recommend Latitude and will use them again when our home kitchen is renovated. J & W are awesome installers, easy to talk with and did amazing work!

I was so happy to find Latitudes as I appreciate their eco-friendly premise (keeping stone out of landfills). Leslie was a great communicator and explained their process clearly. Initially, I thought I had to use the whole remnant. This was a little stressful, as I only needed 75% of the slab. So it was great to learn I could buy as much or as little of the slab as I needed. The measuring team were very quick and professional. The installers were too. My outcome is beautiful quartz counters in my kitchen and laundry room for half the price I expected to pay. I will definitely be calling on Leslie and her team again for other projects.

Their reputation for high quality work is well deserved. Very professional from beginning to end. Seam between pieces is almost invisible. Very accommodating for retaining the sink cut-out piece. I would highly recommend for any countertop work.

We accidentally damaged our countertop. High Heat will crack the countertop as we found out. We also chipped the counter with a pot. Both issues our fault. I called for help and we received fast and very skilled service that fixed the chip and hid the Thermal crack.

Another great experience with Latitude. My piece was expertly measured, cut, and installed at a price I think constitutes an excellent value. Be sure to check out the remnant warehouse. Thanks guys!

, I just wanted to send you a note to let you know how happy we are with the Latitude installation team Jake and Bruce. They were extremely respective and helpful. They did a great job. We couldn’t have had 2 more professional and courteous installers. We were also very happy with the counter tops that you provided.

I initially just wanted two smaller pieces of stone so I purchased a remnant. I choose a smaller remnant but it was still so much more than I needed so I told them I would add in two shelves as well just to fill out the remnant. When I went to go pick up my remnant I wondered where the off cuts were from the piece I bought. The largest off cut would have been 12"x19". I was told at that time it has been thrown away. I went over to the office to complaint that material I purchased was thrown out and was given a totally different story. The man here said they keep and resell off cuts, and do not give them to customers and that I had only been charged for the actual square inches I was taking home from the remnant, (ie, it was discounted from the listed price for what was used). However I was never told about any discount and it never was shown on an invoice. Secondly, when I explained I was adding in the shelves simply to fill out the remnant, I should have been told at this point this was not needed. That I would only be charged for what I used.

If the off cut was thrown out as I was told first, that is material I paid for when I bought the remnant so that is not right.
If it being kept as I was told secondly, then why even list prices on remnants? It should just be a square inch price.
Thirdly, I was told pieces that small are too delicate to keep around and usually break. Weird considering pieces I actually ordered were even smaller than this. So is every sample in their showroom. So again, bogus.

I asked that the off cut be delivered to me or that $150 be refunded to only partially cover the cost of the extra I was tricked in to buying. A trick by omission of information. No one wanted to find a resolution and when Leslie finally called me almost a week later to discuss, it was clear she had no interest in making this batter and simply talked over top of me as a way to end the conversation.

Incredibly frustrating experience. I feel ripped off and no one there seemed to care. I would not recommend unless a headache is what you're after.

On a side note, the product was okay, but holes that they drilled were very sloppy. More oval than circle, lots of chipping out and they don't really go straight down, they are at a slight angle.
