Kitchen & Bathroom - Cabinets & Design review in

It's seven weeks after the promised finish date for my Kitchen. The builder will be able to look in you the eyes and promise you he will come work the next day - but never show up without even a phone call. His workmanship is poor; everything is only ALMOST level, every door has a chipped corner, and he does not listen when you have a concern. Asks for too much money up front

- What could this company do to improve their services?
- The builder makes a lot of promises, but never follows through. If he could match the quality of his work to the quality he promises - then he would be excellent. I can provide pictures to anyone who doubts what I am saying
- Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
- Always draft up a contract, and never put down more than 20% of the final cost.
