This company sold me a water softening system about 14 months ago and the installation went well. The system worked until 4 months ago and then it stopped using salt and I called for service. I was told in a faintly patronising manner to use a stick to break up the salt. I did this and waited 2 months before I could be certain that the salt was still not being used. I rang back and was told that I likely needed several new filters as they were likely blocked and the soonest I was offered an appointment was 6 weeks later. I took a 1/2day off work to meet the maintenance person and was phoned by dispatcher from the company who in a very casual and unapologetic manner said the Maintenance man wasn't coming and she didn't have any availability until the new Year and that it was no problem of hers that I would be without service all over the holidays as a result of their lack of service it was apparently "out of my hands"
