I contacted Hatton's Hardwood Floors Inc. as I was shopping around for replacing the carpet with a hardwood floor in our family and living rooms. Based on the info I provided, I asked for a rough estimate and availability which they were provided to me right away by Cal. Later on, I contacted Cal to let him know that I want to go ahead. Cal came in person, checked the rooms and left an in-writing quotation including an explanation of what is involved in doing the work. Once I accepted the quotation, Cal promised to get back to me with the exact date which he did in a timely manner. The date was accommodating and took into consideration our situation knowing the hassle of moving the furniture and also not having the 2 rooms available for us at the same time during the work. Cal and his team did a great job in replacing our floor with quality, cleanness, efficiently and on time. Cal did a final inspection of the work before he considered the job done. I’ll not hesitate to contact Cal for our next hardwood project or recommend him to a friend.

I purchased a vinyl floor system from Windsor Plywood. The installation by Hatton's Hardwood [Calvert Hatton] exceeded my expectations in terms of price, quality and schedule. I am pleased with my new engineering office.

Both recommended to re-sand and at the same time we thought we would change from carpet to wood on our staircase. We chose Hatton because of Cal's experience and knowledge of hardwood, his promptness of getting a quote to us and his flexibility of meeting our schedule. Furthermore, he offered to work around some obstacles like an 800# stove..The result was everything promised, plus the house had hardly any dust, was left clean and the job is pristine. I called a few hardwood companies to get quotes for refinishing the floors. I was referred to this company by a close friend of mine. My main floor was in need of a refinishing. Cal was very helpful in making sure that I options of the stain I chose. He ended up matching a stain to a pre-finished sample I liked and it worked perfectly. Overall, I had a great experience with Cal and would certainly recommend Hattons Hardwood to others!

I am completely satisfied with the work Cal and his team did from the great results to the virtually dust free condition our house was left in. The project was to re-finish an older oak floor around 700sqft. Through the bid process we decided to go with Hatton's based on their expertise and competative pricing. We did not have a referral or prior knowledge of them so took a bit of a chance. Cal stopped by personally to do the esimate, made sure everything went well for the job and finished off by following up with us afterwards. He did the work while we were away and all went well.
