Claridge would not pay my neighbor nor myself the $1000 referral bonus even though it was approved in my sales agreement. They ignored repeated request for many months until I involved my lawyer, after which the dispute was resolved in 2 days.

Claridge had insisted that all the defects on my roof were repaired when in fact no work was performed at all. After lengthy arguments with their Service Center, I have had enough and involved Tarion for conciliation. Tarion imposed a $10,000 fine against Claridge and complied Claridge to complete the repair.

We bought over a million dollar house and its been 6 months since we moved but for last 4 months my parents are unable to use the washroom as there was water leakage , our kitchen cabinets have come off and my mom hurt her legs. The furnace and AC suddenly stop working. Nothing feels right here . Please DO NOT BUY WITH THIS BUILDER. They never respond to your emails. In the beginning they agree to all the updates and just before handing over they apologize saying sorry the updates were not in city code/ not possible .. so many excised all the time .

Very poor finishing on jobs. Always delayed on everything. 6 months after closing and the towel bars and toilet paper holders are not installed for anyone in the area, where as all other builders in the area have it installed so its not even supply issue. Finishing on all items is so poor that its unbelievable. Paint overspray in all places, corners of cabinets and doors are dinged, and repaired poorly.

The customer service is even worse. They dont even have a path for escalation. So if you're not satisfied with the first person's answer - too bad, you have to deal with it, even if its because they are having a bad day they can ruin your experience and you can't do anything.

Warranty service team has is also rough and rude, maybe because they deal with all unsatisfied customers, and all their customers are unsatisfied.

If you haven't bought a house yet - DON'T try Claridge. I'm very disappointed. P.S: I have previously owned new houses with builders, but haven't had such bad experience.

I was supposed to move into my unit in the first of September, I booked an elevator slot, rented a uhaul, everything. I showed up to receive my keys, walked into the unit and it was not done being built. No appliances, no countertops, no cupboard doors, no sinks, no paint- unliveable. The solution that was proposed was that I could cancel my lease agreement with no additional fee- after arguing for some time, they offered me a unit to stay in in their other building until my unit was ready. The administration is nearly impossible to reach and when they are reached they are mostly rude and in accommodating. AVOID AT ALL COSTS- wont be renewing my lease.

Countless damages and poor workmanship aside, Claridge has been a headache to deal with to fix the crap they built to an unacceptable standard. Not only are they uncapable of resolving any issues, they gaslight you to make you think you heard wrong and that your issues are actually either resolved or you have to resolve those on your own cost. Do not buy from this builder, I know this won't do much to persuade people to stay away but it's the best I can do. AVOID CLARIDGE AT ALL COSTS.

So many things fell apart within 2 year in my new house. Only one person lived in the house doors came out with loosened hinges and shower stall got a protruding circular spot which will soon open up. A crack on the foundation appeared and a water patch appeared on the ceiling.... I paid large sum of money but now I’m disappointed and heart broken.. ever time they say “not covered” and it’s standard”

I bought the house 2 years ago, very poor quality and it has been 2 years and they haven’t fixed anything. The grout is peeling, there are small holes in all the hardwood. Every 2 month there is a new employee that leaves their job at claridge, they transfer my file to a new employee .... if I had read the reviews before I bought the house, I would for sure not have bought with them.

I received my property and the next day there was a major water leak coming from the ceiling damaging the ceiling and floor. This among many other deficiencies is the reason I do not recommend this company. They also have terrible customer service!

I would not recommend Claridge. The back wall of the house started breaking apart within 6 months. A house that I bought to live in for 30years is breaking in 6,months. Once you paid and moved in Claridge will not listen to you and send unprofessional people who don't do anything but say I'm not the guy for this job. I had a lot of other defects that I wont mention cause the back wall breaking and cracking will give you guys a great idea. I will attach pictures with this review have a look. Im planning to involve my community and a lawyer to see my rights. Stay away from Claridge!!!

I don't recommend this company to anyone. the quality of the materials is very poor. they don't respond to us during the first two years and when you call them they are extremely rude. There are major mistakes that they refused to fix them, we were promised a few times to have an inspector to look at what needs to be fixed, and NEVER COME BACK.
The garage door fall just one year after we moved in and we had to buy a brand new one and install it. Awful costumers service.
