Recently (Winter 2016/2017) we had major water problems in our backyard that was affecting our house. My husband and I have completed many large renovation projects over our 20+ years in several of our homes as well as full builds with different builders. You could call us very hands on customers that expect a lot. We went to several of our known contractors for estimates and help on our water issue. Astoria Homes stood out as the most knowledgable and genuine in our search. We were optimistic but reserved. Now that the work is done we would like to give a big pat on the back and THANK YOU to Astoria Homes! Never have we had any contractor that was so efficient, on time, hands on and took genuine pride in their work. Every trades person that entered our property were the best of the best, even down to the contractor that put the final grass in. The owner of Astoria (Jim) was constantly at our house checking things over and making sure things were going as planned. When we had to leave unexpectedly for a week Jim would text us pictures of what was happening and check in with us to make sure we like what was going on. He was right on time and right on budget, there were no surprises. We will never use another contractor other than Astoria Homes, thank you Jim! It is so nice to see a Home builder that is genuine, knowledgable and takes so much pride in the jobs he completes. Definitely a rarity!
