Joe The Mover

I've used them a bunch of times to move and my clients have used them to bring furniture to our store as well. In fact this coming Tuesday a client will be using their services and they gave the client the best rate possible. They're very professional and they always give me the best rates because I use them so often. I always recommend them to clients.

I used Joe The Mover to move the contents on an entire condo from storage to my new condo. I changed the scheduled start time four times because of the building manager at my new building. Each time I contacted the company and spoke with Rafael. He is the owner. He was extremely accommodating with my last minute changes. Furthermore, he discloses his costs up front, briefly tells you about the service and answers the phone right away.

The movers he sent were extremely good. In fact they were excellent. I dealt with Dwight Blagrove and Brian. They arrived at the storage area early, called me and told me they were waiting for my arrival. They were efficient, and I offered to help them since I was paying by the hour and they gladly accommodated that. However they specifically took care of the heavy / bulky items. They arrived at the condo building in record time and unloaded and had my unit set up with time to spare.

Should you decide to go with this company, ask for Dwight and he will direct the entire move, and you can either help or simply wait. He will take care of every last detail.

The price was exactly what the website, the owner and the movers quoted. There was no grey area or questionable charges. I gladly tipped both the movers for their excellent service.

Seems like it can be hit or miss with these movers, and I wish I'd read the reviews to know that before I booked them. I had a friend who had a great service with these movers, but I unfortunately wasn't as lucky. The crew that arrived at my house seemed to be more concerned with throwing my things around then moving them carefully. On the bright side, I ended up being charged less than the quoted price but I think I'd rather them take a little longer next time and take a little extra care.

great moving company! right from the start when I called to book the moving date, the lady advised me if I choose to move the next day, would save money on the hourly rate. The guys showed up and they were very professional. handled with care with my valuables. I do recommend them!!

I moved from a 1BR in a high-rise, to the 3rd floor of a townhouse (up 2 STEEP flights of stairs). These guys were quick, efficient, and extremely polite - truly the height of customer service!
They brought an extra man (3 instead of 2) and everything was done in 2hrs.
Highly recommended!

I used them recently to move from a 2BR apartment to a 3BR house. They were nice guys but they didn't have their own packing materials (e.g. tape) although they did provide blankets. They were alright but they didn't cover their boots in my new home and left footprints everywhere. Also, they marked my stairs and my walls a lot. The price was reasonable and I probably would use them again if I didn't care so much about my walls/floors.

We hired Joe the Mover to move some really big pieces into some very small spaces and were very worried about the light carpeting. They showed up with a roll of material for the stairs, got right to work and made it all look easy. Upon discovering about 100 nails in the back of a cupboard they pulled them out with no complaints. They were done fast with no damage and charged what was quoted. Top scores! Highly recommended!

$260 + HST These guys were amazing. They worked very hard, efficiently and were really kind and courteous. Roger, Peter and George moved us into a 3rd story walk up and took just shy of 3 hours. We had the three guys for a mid month move, which was reasonable. We saved on the costs from the company and passed our savings on to the movers because they deserved it. This company is very easy to work with, and I've heard horror stories but these guys and Joe the Movers is really changing the face of the moving company.

The team had many challenges getting our furniture in the house because our narrow stairs. However, the team never let anything stop them and went out of their way to solve any issues for us. They even hoisted 2 pieces of furniture from the ground to the 3rd floor patio.

I would definitely recommend calling Joe the Mover and using Roger and his crew.
