My low-slope roof need a new membrane torched on and new soffit ventilation to ensure the new membrane will last a long time. The owner Joe worked very hard, no time was wasted. My wife Laurie and I also got a seniors discount, a bonus. The workmanship was top notch.

I had ongoing issues with previous work done. Reached out to a cpl companies and it was to complicated. Tops Roofing came out right away and completed the job within 2 days. They used a quality product and very affordable. Would recommend to other home owners.

Tops roofing installed new shingles on my roof in October 2015. This spring (May/June 2018), a few shingles started to buckle and then fall off the roof. I discovered that the plastic was still covering the tar strips, nails were improperly placed and insufficient. This made it a certainty that they would fail.
Tops Roofing ignored numerous calls, despite the fact that they signed a contract guaranteeing their labour for 10 years. Very dishonest people.

** Update 2, April 2019. Joe showed up as promised, and after a bit of discussion he repaired the few shingles that had been damaged. It was definitely a more pleasant experience this time, thanks Joe!

** Update, April 2019. Looks like we had a few more shingles blown off and contacted the company once more. They've acknowledged there must be an unknown issue during the original job and have promised to make it right. They're coming this weekend to attempt to rectify the issue, I'll post a follow-up after the meet this weekend.

** Sprint 2018
It was 6 years into a 10 year warranty, and unfortunately the warranty not honored. When contacting the company, they did not answer the phone and their mailbox is full. After getting a hold of them, we scheduled an appointment and they did not show up. When asked about the warranty, I was told it was "common sense" that they wouldn't guarantee their shingles won't blow off the roof because of strong winds. The winds were above normal, 100km although with a newer shingling it would be expected to not come up.

After getting up their to take care of the problem with a couple brothers, we realized there may be either a workmanship problem, and/or a physical issue with the shingles themselves. There were shingles with nails driven straight through, missing the the second shingle underneath due nailing too high and not in the correct area, or nailing on the edge of the shingle (rendering the nail useless).

After this experience, I would have a hard time recommending them.
