This company is like no other out there. You call them and tell them what you need ie: a new thermostat, an ember screen with rock wool installed... etc
having used them twice now - they have a habit of claiming to suddenly not have the "part" on the truck, requiring a return call the following day which you are charged for ( basically a $100 each time they come out ) !
this happened first time I used them 2 yrs ago
again this winter, calling telling them the issue and what I needed
they turned it into a "checkup call moreless with a return call with the parts" again charged for 2 calls.
Napoleon head office confirmed I knew my parts and part numbers, and this should not occur.
it was suggested I call 3 other local dealers who repair stoves
I did and I would only be charged for 1 service call and the part, NOT ONE of them said they would come out, they require a return visit to fix the problem and bring supplies.
NOT 2 like with Muskoka Mechanical.
Communication is so poor in their office as well,

IF you call them, make darn sure you tell them what you require ( of course permitting you know ) I understand some don't.....however...if you know what you need and the part, TELL them and make it clear, otherwise they will nick you with 2 calls and charge you hefty for it.
I do not rec'd them, especially to females on their own.
Heat pump installed by a Huntsville company who botched the install and could not diagnose the problem. Muskoka Mechanical found the issue right away and fixed it. Used again in 2015.
I was incredibly disappointed by the service provided by Muskoka Mechanical Services. I had used them several years ago and had an amazing experience. This time was completely different. The service man came out 3 times and 2 would have been sufficient but he brought the wrong parts and then made me pay for his 3rd trip. Do not believe that the repair cost was appropriate to work accomplished. I would not have them come again. I gave them a '2' because at least the furnace is working.
