We recently had a new storm door installed at the main entrance of our home, by John of ALTON Windows and Doors.
I can just PRAISE John and his team for his efficient job.
The door not an easy one to be installed because we did not have one, was installed with care and professionalism.
Wat a difference it makes not only to the appearance of the front of the house but to the energy it saves us and the privacy it provides.

Could not be more pleased with our Sliding Patio Door. John at Alton came over to quote our job and was very knowledgeable and honest. Many of the companies that we approached gave us the impression that because our door was an odd size they either over priced or were not interested in quoting at all. Restored my wood windows and had 9 new Storm Windows replaced by Alton.
Seems like no one else had any interest for the business and I was not interested in spending huge sums of money to replace my wooden windows.
There are not too many other vendors / manufactures that will make them these days. So if you need them call them. They did a great job and they look great.

Just recently had my front door replaced by ALTON WINDOWS & DOORS.

It can be stressful and overwhelming trying to navigate through styles, colours, and finishes, but John and his team are very experienced, caring, and a pleasure to work with.

I was very impressed with the level of attentiveness and quality of workmanship by Dave and his crew during the installation. He even made an extra trip to ensure the caulking around the door matched the rest of the house.

The end result is a beautiful customized door that we will enjoy for years to come.

I just wanted to say how pleased I am with my new windows and front door! The install process was amazing! Dave and his partner were very professional and neat. The took their time but were very efficient. They made a minimal mess and cleaned up any debris from the installation. I was mostly impressed by the trim Dave added around my windows. Over all I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

What I appreciate most about Alton, is they are fully, and wholly Canadian, throughout their entire supply chain. I was able to tour their shop, and they have a core manufacturing staff which has been with the company for decades. They produce quality windows, comparable to anything else available at your local big box hardware store, or massive, automated vinyl window factory, but the fact their vinyl, glass, and window hardware are all Canadian-made, is impressive! Think of how many jobs they create by not sourcing cheaper materials from overseas. These small things make companies like Alton a first choice for those who choose to buy Canadian.

We converted an attached garage to an office and recreational room. Alton installed a sliding door where the garage door used to be and a window in the office space. Dave was very professional and the door looks amazing. You can’t even tell there used to be a door there. It even matches with the other windows and doors in the house. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
