We called Action Furnace to service our furnace, water heater and air conditioning unit. The Technician told us that our furnace and water heater both needed to be replaced and provided an estimated cost of $11,000. The Technician told us that the furnace was emitting lethal amounts of carbon monoxide and should be decommissioned ansd replaced immediately as my family was at risk. We of course decommissioned the furnace. We got a second opinion from another company and it turns out that the furnace and water heater are absolutely fine. We complained to Action Furnace and they refunded the inspection amount for the water heater and furnace but not the air con unit (which they had installed 2 years prior). My husband also asked whether their technicians earned commissions for selling new furnaces - Action Furnace declined to answer.
This is an utter disgrace and we will also be making a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.
