I had the opportunity to work with three of their amazing staff and by far they were a great team of staff to work with for any project! Highly recommend

I went to Shelmerdines to purchase a couple potted trees for the outside of my business. The particular display which I liked was only available in one pot. They had to make up another display for me. Please note that this was for the outside of my business which was just in time for Xmas. When I asked if there was a delivery charge. They kid me it would be around $40. That was fine but I was slightly amoyrd because I has to wait a week for the display. I had already spent at least $500 on other greenery that day but still had to pay the delivery fee even though I have was inconvenienced that I had to wait a week for the other display.
Anyway, at the till, I did ask if I could get assistance to the car which they did. But the guy didn't even push the cart to the car! I had to maneuver my way thru the point of purchase area I the car at which point he did Help me load the back seat. Overall, I would say the prices are quite inflated at Shelmerdines and I would try AJ Lacoste next time. Thank you.

We have been going to Shelmerdines for several years and always have a great experience there.The staff is helpful and the selection is great. .The coffee shop is a nice touch and the staff are friendly.

I bought an apple tree from Shelmerdine about 15 years ago and it has not produced any apples. I went back a few years later and informed them of the problem and was told I need to wait about 7 years. Ten years later and still no apples I went back to Shelmerdine on Roblin Bvld and was told that if the tree did not produce any apples they would give me another apple tree.
I went back again this year (2012) and was told to talk to someone named 'Chad', who listened to what I had to say and offered to sell me another apple tree with a 25 % discount.
I told him I was offered a tree replacement, but he said that offer was from the previous owner and not him.
After 15 years of waiting for apples that never arrived, and after being promised a tree replacement, the best Shelmerdine would offer was a 25 % discount.
I do not and will not buy from Shelmerdine any more.

My first trip to Shelmerdine was disappointing, but found myself back there later in the year. Maybe my first time was with a new staff or they were short-staffed but I didn't find the service very helpful. The second trip however was the exact opposite, I had multiple people offer assistance and input their knowledge into options for a flowering only (non-fruit producing) miniature tree. I will go back a third time for further landscaping needs.
