The he came to the house to see the job and discussed subtleties of the job and some downspout changes I needed. Other companies didn't even come to the house to make an estimate.

Job was started in a timely manner, and completed in a day. Full clean up, with no scrap left around.

Having received several quotes for the intended work from the HomeStars requests and others. I found Blackstar was very customer focused and provided a very reasonable price and although not the lowest price, I selected Blackstar for the following reasons: Pat of Blackstar responded quickly to my initial request, showed on the day he scheduled to review the site, walked through the options I had available, described the quality of the various products, ensured there were no surprises as to additional costs/work and scheduled the actual work within a week and a half of his visit, the actual work was done with good quality and the site was cleaned upon completion.

We had our eavestroughs, soffits, facia, and some minor siding replaced. Price was competitive with other quotes received. Blackstar was one of the few that actually replied at all, and did so quickly. Very happy with the work.

I called a few siding contractors and Pat from Blackstar was the most responsive before, during and after the install. Not many companies were willing to do work in downtown T.O and for a job that’s considered small like ours, but Blackstar did a great job replacing a couple of areas of siding that had come off the wall, as well as replace the framing behind one area that had rotted. The price was very reasonable, and we are very happy with the outcome.

Would strongly recommend Backstar for any large projects.
They provide excellent workmanship, pay attention to detail and great at cleaning up at the end of the day.
