Stonehaven Granite was an absolute train wreck to deal with. The company was like dealing with a cell phone company when you want to renew your contract. Initially upon signing contract we dealt with a pleasant lady. Very kind. But we were quickly passed onto another staff member for templating, then another for installation etc. in short communication was terrible. No one knew what the other had communicated. We submitted our kitchen design plans from our kitchen contractor. Upon templating the company came without our design plans and templated the existing kitchen. The problem with that was the measurement were in correct and the company attempted to blame us for their error. Our credit card on two separate occasions was charged incorrect amounts that were not in our contract. At one point during installation the owner came out because they did not understand what mistakes were made. Our island was off and we were charged for a piece that did not exist in our new kitchen. We were then told that we could keep the pieces they made mistakes on. They came back a few days later to reinstall the proper island countertop and the installer told us the owner wanted the others back and took them. Absolutely no customer service skills. At one point we gave the company measurements for our gas cooktop cutout. The company called us and cancelled our installation because the cooktop wasn't present. However do you're research and you'll quickly see that your appliance manufacture leaves exact cutout measurements for installers. We were then told the appointment would remain cancelled and the owner would phone us on the Monday. The Monday came and my wife got a phone call notifying us that they were at our house to install. They asked us if we could open the house up but like most people my wife and I were at work. Forgot to mention the counter had a chip in it. The company did fix the chip and installed a new island at the correct measurement but the stress and poor communication, overages on our visa, lack of empathy and time delays make us warn buyers to beware.
