They went above and beyond to find the leak. They had to investigate a possible cause in ceiling which entailed making a hole which they expertly repaired and painted.

Called them in to find the sewer pipe under the basement floor. They never found it. they told me a clean out needed to be installed so they could find it? they were using an open toilet drain so not sure why but I agreed. said they needed parts and left for over an hour which I was charged for and they came back installed clean out and still could not find the pipe, they took a guess which was 10 feet off in the wrong direction. Had to hire another company to come find the pipe which they did with no problem. Hyde Park charged me 800 and I refused to pay so they put in collections.

I recommended you guys to my mom and dad for some outdoor tap repair. You were prompt and professional! My mom was impressed...she then recommended you to my sister for another leaky outdoor tap. Again, within an hour the plumber arrived and saved the day! That's 2 for 2 guys! Great job! Keep up the good work

A complete, back to studs renovation in a challenging heritage home. They were wonderful! From the design to completion, everything was perfect. Showed up when they said they would; stayed on budget and on-time. The finished bathroom is amazing with whirlpool tub, rain-head marble shower, heated floor new sink and vanity. Included relocating the toilet location in the bathroom as well.

Over the past few years, Hyde Park Plumbing has fixed my old furnace, replaced my old air conditioner, fixed a couple of plumbing leaks, and moved an outdoor faucet for me. They have been consistently excellent. Prompt, courteous service with people who know what they are doing.

I would not hesitate to recommend Hyde Park Plumbing. They are very, very good.

I had an insurance claim that sent Hyde Park Plumbing to correct 2 issues (blocked drain & sewer smell from sinks). This was my second claim with the insurance company, the previous plumbing company confirmed the repairs with the insurance company before proceeding to do the work, I signed the work order, and everything was great. In the case of Hyde Park, they came into my home, assessed the issues, left, and returned to do the repairs. Not only was their work sub-par which resulted in a call to the owner, the sewer smell persists. They got yellow plumbing glue all over my kitchen sink cabinet, damaged drywall, and got plumbing glue on a carpet (which we had to throw away and replace $300). Immediately after the plumbers left and seeing the damage they caused, I called the owner and he committed to coming by and seeing the damage and never did. On top of that, I later got a bill for work the insurance company did not cover, however, during the visit, I was not informed that the insurance company would not cover these costs and I did not sign off on the costs or work. They are harassing me for payment for services that I did not sign off for and I'm left with additional costs to repair my walls (estimated at $800 and the replacement of the carpet $ 300). They are messy, careless and an experience which should have been as smooth as my first claim with another plumbing company has resulted in $1,100 of damage to my house. Avoid this place at all costs.

*Significantly overcharged on quoted services;
*Charged for materials never agreed (no plumbing parts used);
*Greatly exaggerated work performed;
*Failed to adequately prepare necessary equipment and materials for the work, causing unnecessary delays;
*Failed to complete the work;
*Did not make any repairs;
*Behaved in an unprofessional manner (e.g., refused to follow instructions, repeatedly left site, continuously used profanity, could not perform required work);
*Unable to provide a clear estimate for any possible repairs;
*Caused damages, including a potential fire hazard and the removal of plumbing without consent; and
*Refused to resolve my complaint.

PLEASE search this company carefully before using!

I called to get a quote, when I called I was not told I would be charged for an Estimate. A service man came out, said "why would they send me here we don't do this kind of work." and left (5 mins tops). I then got a bill in the mail for the Estimate, I never got!! I had 3 other companies come out a give me free quotes.

A project that we thought would be under $300 ended up costing $700 with no explanation or warning. They sent two people who took 5 hours to install a range hood fan. They didn't bring the appropriate venting to start with, despite knowing what the job was, and the time spent driving around to get the right parts was on top of the 5-hour install. The work itself was very thorough and we've had no problems. I would strongly recommend getting some form of written quote to hold them to for any work you'd consider with them.

I paid Splash Works 32K to do a complete small pool install. They hired this company to do a gas line that was included in my payment to Splash Works. 4 Months after the job was completed and out of the blue they billed me! After getting my information from Splash Works which is also a violation of my privacy. I contacted Brian Worrad of Menear and Associates and he read the Pool contract and advised me I was not liable. He called the Owner of Hyde Park Plumbing and he agreed to let my lawyer write a letter to Splash Works to pay the bill and as a result of this he would not pursue me. He verbally told this to my lawyer. He then proceeded to report me to a credit agency and destroyed my credit for a bill I do not owe! I never hired them! I did not even speak to them! Never do Business with these people as they can not be trusted!!! Horrible business practices and unethical in this situation!!!
