Krupps Espresso Machine

I loved this coffee maker for about a year. Then is started needing frequent (2x/year) service for $75-100 per visit. That was OK, cause service took a week or so. Recently Krups decided to close their Canadian Parts supplier so parts have to come from FRANCE.
No coffee now for for almost 2 months.
BYE-BYE Krups Canada!

Krups XP 2240 espresso/coffee maker

Terrible Customer Service. New XP 2240 $400, replaced after it leaded and stopped working. Replacement machine leaked after 2 years. Customer service told us we could pay for repair, despite having same problem with 2 machines. DON'T purchase any KRUPS appliances. Design is defective and Customer service has no interest in helping buyers.

Krups EA8260 Espresso Machine

I purchased this unit and used for approx one year before it failed. The grinder stopped and water and coffee grinds spilled out of the bottom of the machine. Unit was maintained as per manufacturers requirements (filters, tablets etc). I packed it into the original carton and the shipping box from Hudson Bay and hand delivered it to the service centre (Canadian Agent) Groupe SEB. I was contacted by this firm later that the unit was repaired and that I could come and pick it up. Upon receipt, I was told by the last person at the counter (it was a friday, mid afternoon, apparently they close early) that the problem was a seal. He handed me the unit and bid me a good day. I should have realized something was awry. The box I brought this in was a new box and packaged in the shipping box from the Bay. The box he returned it to me in was a decrepit box with no packing material. By the time I fully realized what was going on, the door had closed and he had left the desk. The door no longer opened. I stood in the parking lot wondering what I should do.... Anyway, I went home, took it out and checked it.... It worked but I noticed that the front resevoir plate appeared more scratched than before. I looked at my manual, invoice and even the form that from the service centre didnt provide a serial so that I could double check that I had at least been returned the machine I took in. Regrettably no serial is documented (strange but true). Anyway, the unit worked and that was fine.... A year later, the exact same issue has once again ocurred! I doubt one matter has anything to do with the other but this is just ridiculous! I've returned the machine to them and asked how its possible that the same issue could happen again. it has been two weeks since it was sent in and it has yet to be serviced. I'll be furious once the tech looks at it and tells me that it's just outside of warranty.

Krups Canada

I purchased the Krups 9000 dispenser model and after 1 month the lid continually popped open while brewing the coffee. I attempted to return it but the company purchased from said I was over their 30 day return policy. Then I contacted the service department and they sent me to a local repair agent, who, after almost 6 weeks that they couldn't repair it. Then the customer service had me mail it to another service centre, where it remained for another 3 weeks and who claimed to fix it but did not! I am using this machine with a full kettle on top to keep the lid down while attempting to get some help from Krups. Today I called instead of e-mailing and have been asked to mail it to Ontario, from BC, so again after about 6 weeks without my coffee machine I must mail it away again? This is not what they claim as "Precision engineering" on their webpage! So here I am again going to be without a coffee maker after spending $250. on what was supposed to be an excellent machine. When I asked some very specific questions to customer service in an e-mail, the only answer I received was, "I will send you a shipping label", and to send my full address, etc, which she already has from our several previous communications. While the machine does make very nice coffee, CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH KRUPS IS ATROCIOUS, and not worth bothering with any of their products!

nescafe dolce gusto circolo machine

Machine started leaking this last month after 1 years use. Tryiing to deal with ANYONE at krups/Dolce Gusto is a total waste of time. Supervisor 'Nancy' messed me around endlessly - phone calls promised but never received then when she did finally ring ,totally unhlepful, totally rude, totally ' not her problem'. CANPAR courier just as bad, I sincerely hope I never have to deal with either again. When this machine ' dies' I am done with krups. The worst ever machine. It was left outside my house for 12 days as no-one could get organised enough to colect it. Lousy service all round. Big fat ZERO out of Ten. Nancy should go on a customer service course, she has zero skills.in that dept. Tel 1 800 387- 4636 should anyone like to tell her so !!!!!

Krups KM 7000 Pro Grinder Brewer

Purchased Krups KM7000 Pro Grinder. Unit lasted 6 months. Warranty repair took over one month. Warranty was over when finally got around to using unit again. It made one pot of coffee then left a pool of water all over the counter each try after that. Tried dealing with repair agent and Krups with absolutely no satisfaction. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM KRUPS AS WELL AS SERVICE REPAIR AGENT!!!!
