Brandon Paegel and Queci were our installation team. They were very professional, courteous and punctual. Brandon explained the work very well and answered all our questions over the two days and at walkthrough. We were able to avoid the costs of moving plumbing stacks as they willingly worked with what was there. We are pleased with the outcome and the cleanup. Thanks!

The pump had run all night, but was pumping water back to the house foundation due to the frozen ground & frozen pipe, so I was very concerned about water seeping into the basement. Marc was available to come out the same day I had the problem, to install above-ground pipes to direct the water away from the house. Upon checking the system, he determined that it was old (installed 8 years ago) & failing, & graciously made the time to replace the pump & add a back-up battery. That saved our basement from flooding I'm sure! Thanks Marc, for providing such timely, efficient and cheerful service!

The installation and sump pump had not been serviced since it was installed a number of years ago. The service technician did a good job reviewing everything with me, replaced the pump quickly and cleaned up after the work.

Wesley C from Basement Systems patched up our a crack in our basement in no time. He has great customer service, was very informative about the process and basement water issues in general and went out of his way to find an appt time that worked for us. 5/5!!!

I had a good initial walkthrough with Ron and felt confident that his suggestions were what we needed. We had a crack in the basement wall that had started to leak a little so he recommended that we seal the crack and get a sump pump installed as the moisture levels were high. However, I wasn't prepared for how it would look like once the crack was repaired (several large bolts protruding from the wall as well as some foamy substance leaking out). I would also expect that after these two projects, someone would take the time to contact us to see if the solutions were working. Perhaps to remeasure the moisture levels or check the sump pump. The installers were courteous though and worked very quickly which was refreshing.

Had a new sump pump installed two years ago with a battery backup after the 'big flood'. The installation was flawless and had them back to do a basic service to ensure that all was working well.

Service technician Wes was on time, suggested an enhancement I could make to increase the warning of rising water walked me through the system again and provided information that I could get an insurance discount for having a battery back up system.

All in all a great experience from what I have found to be a great company to deal with.

I hired them to fix the sump pump and discharge for a home I bought as I woke up to a pond in my backyard the first spring we moved in. After their "fix" it's ten times worse this year flooding all along my foundation and a shed in my backyard. Service men have come out and told me its working as designed. Never mind my electric bill running the pump every thirty seconds but I will have to dig up and regrade the backyard redo the landscaping and had to disconnect their ice guard system to put on my old discharge pipe and get the water away from house
However, they have had prompt response from their service department and come out to look at it at least.
Fingers crossed it will get fixed this summer.

I had a card for Basement Systems from the last home show and when the other contractor that quoted by job failed to show up, I called them. They came right out, gave me a good explanation of their process, gave me a detailed quote and eventually even billed by Condo Association directly. The work was scheduled soon after. The guy that did the work was a little late but called and was there at the revised time. He went right to work and had the crack filled from the inside in a few hours. He cleaned up after himself and gave me clear instructions. I was very impressed with both their customer service and the method they used which caused much less damage than repairing from the outside. I haven't had any significant rainfall to confirm that it's fixed but it looks like no water will be getting in.

I had a sump pump for year that worked perfectly when it rained, but during the floods last spring, my power was turned off for three days. Luckily the neighbour had a generator that I could hook my sump pump up to or my basement would have been flooded.

Saw Basement Systems at the Home Show and they did an excellent job from start to finish. The sale pitch was low key, no pushy sales person--just the facts. The installation was flawless, on time and no mess left behind.
