Lighting, Theatre and Custom Automation
Geoff, you've created a Masterpiece!! I completed a custom home in Altadore last year and selected smartSPACE after talking to virtually every home automation company in Calgary. I selected smartSPACE because Geoff provided endless options to meet our list of unreasonable demands at the most competitive price. I worked with Geoff right at the design stage of our home and as a result he helped design features and add functionality that I didn't know was possible without contacting NASA. I will list some of very cool features that Geoff helped to design: Lutron lighting with keypads that control everything from the fireplaces, electrical outlets, electric drawers in my kitchen, fans and oh ya...the lights too! 16 zones of audio with 2 TV areas that have custom sized sound bars, base subs and no receivers or cable boxes to be seen anywhere but in the 2 racks in my basement that I call the "Brain". Our 7.2 movie theatre with in wall speakers, acoustic panels and custom colour speaker grills makes a trip to the Movie Theatre obsolete! The security system is integrated with the lighting and outdoor speakers, I have witnessed construction workers in the neighborhood take cover when the alarm is tested as it sounds like an air raid siren with flashing lights that make the house look like it is going to self destruct...very subtle!

Your project was a joy to work on. Building your own home is quite a challenge to some but it seemed to be second nature to you and your family. I appreciated your attention to detail throughout the design process as it made things so much easier for us as the job progressed.
I'm glad you're enjoying the house and systems and also look forward to the next project.
