2021 Hired Polar Pools to build us an in ground pool, gave them all the property details. Verbally set start date. They started 2 months late, in the fall. Took on other projects between ours. Paid 15% deposit 5 months before start. Excavation company came Friday before Thanksgiving Weekend. Broke a pipe and wasn’t fixed. Built a water feature wall without weeper vents, framed pool and poured some concrete for Sill Stones. 2 weeks after start poured sun shelf and steps. 2 days later pool cracked and sunk one corner an inch. Blamed that we had poor soil conditions as cause. Said not their fault. Paid $86,000 for a broken pool with no liner and left a pile of mess and they want more money before they return. Made promises to deliver and now we have a disaster and no accountability. But they are still going about their business as normal and haven’t come back to site to see how it has deteriorated. Beware !!!! We asked lots of questions and got, “don’t worry, we will make sure it’s right, we aren’t going anywhere” type of attitude. Please please please, make sure you ask questions during the process and don’t hold back, no matter how basic the question. We won’t see a pool now for at least a year, maybe more and as it sits our pool is continuing to decay.
