The service was effective; put briefly he got the squirrel out and locked him out. But he also did so courteously, professionally, and with a fast turnaround.

Although I hope not to have to need Gradys again, Im happy to say I now have a go to guy for squirrels.

He came, installed a one way door for the raccoons to get out of the attic. Raccoons didnt like that, but we did!! The work was done very well, quickly and professionally. He solved our problem.

After speaking with a few of the large and expensive wild life control companies, and feeling very discouraged, I contacted Grady's Wildlife Removal and spoke with the owner. He understood the problem right away-squirrels had taken over my shed- and he explained how he could remove the squirrels, and possible babies, in a humane way. Humane removal was even more important than cost and yet cost was a big issue too.
He came to my house the next day equipped to deal with the problem.
There were no "assessment fees" he had explained the cost in terms of what might be required so there were no surprises.
Two red squirrels had filled my shed with black walnuts. They had built two nests with stuffing from chair covers and they broke in to bags of earth and wood chips. The floor was covered in nut shells and the rafters
were full of black walnuts. It was a horrendous mess.
Thankfully there were no babies in the nests and the squirrel that was present left the shed. For the next three hours he worked on restoring my shed and blocking points of entry. To properly remove all the stored nuts he had to left the edges of my steel roof which was not an easy job. His thoroughness was extremely impressive. So was his knowledge of squirrels and in my case the habits of the red squirrel.
As well as being knowledgeable and hard working, he is a genuinely nice person to work with. He restored my shed back to normal and I was very grateful.

John came to my house right away to give me an estimate. He explained his system very thoroughly, and within an hour of him leaving I could already see some squirrels that were quite upset that they couldn't get back in to my attic. I was very happy with his service.

John is professional and knowledgeable. After installing a one-way door for raccoons and squirrels I was finally able to get peaceful sleep at night. It was only a couple of days later I noticed there were no more scratching sounds and the lever to the one-way door was way up which tells me the raccoon was finally out!

Last week, after hearing a lot of strange noise, I discovered a squirrel in the basement. When I went downstairs, it was squawking loudly: I'm sure that the squirrel was terrified of people, but the feeling was mutual! I called Grady's in the evening, and he was able to come the very next day. Honestly, I did not know how anyone would be able to get this squirrel out. But Grady's was able to remove the squirrel from the basement with skill and was very reasonably priced. He also determined that the squirrel had come in from the chimney and installed a screen so that they could no longer get in. The most important quality in a business for me is integrity, and that is why I chose Grady's after reading the reviews on Homestars. I'm glad that I did, and I would not hesitate to recommend (and already have recommended) Grady's Wildlife Removal Services to others in Ottawa.
