Ontario Concrete Finishing

We have had water issues for over five years now and have had a lot of different contractors come through with different ideas. When Frank came over to evaluate our problem he gave us some great ideas on how to keep the water away from our house. Frank and his team were very professional and particular on how everything was done, from the footings to the wall and the patio. They were picky on how it was done. A little on the expensive side but worth every cent. The workmanship and quality was over and above Thanks guys for an amazing job well done

Had the front patio and side walkway done as the interlock was more than 30 years old. Frank and his teams were excellent to work with. Polite and professional and did an absolutely incredible job. Frank was always in communication on site or available to answer any questions that came up....he even transplanted a fairly large tree for me. On the day of pour Frank was on site ensuring everything went smoothly.
As you go along in a project things always come up but Frank was easy to work with and really went above and beyond to make things work for us. For example: 1) moved the tree; 2) set to new fence posts; and 3) built a new
window well. Awesome Frank!!! Ahhhhh!!! Thank you.

Our asphalt drive and front interlocking walkway was 30 years old and ready for replacement. Frank and his team did a complete make over during some of the hottest days this summer. They were always professional, respectful and friendly.
We now have a house front that is the envy and pride of the neighbourhood. We have received nothing but compliments on the beautiful work.
Can’t wait to have them come back next year to finish our back walkway and patio

We interviewed many companies to do this job. Right from beginning we felt we can trust Frank. He always responded to our follow up questions promptly. His offer was the most expensive but you get what you pay for, and, we don’t regret it, worth every penny. We were looking for excellent results and we got it. Actually, results are over our expectations. Frank helped us with design/landscape, etc. He is perfectionist and ethical, hard to find these days. I did follow up with some modifications/enhancements thoughts and Frank’s response was always “we will take care of it”. It was great pleasure to see this team work, I learnt a lot in this journey. Thank you for assembling the best team for the job, Jake, Brent and Paul.

Update: After 2 years of enjoying our stamped concrete. Cracks (minor so far) have developed. Frank used to explain that due to his way doing this work, we should not get cracks. However, now, he has different opinion, he now always responds "there's nothing to worry about - this is normal", well, I'm not worried but this was not the expectation. Please see attached pictures. White residue developed right after installation on porch. He came few times to correct it. Something with the way sealer was applied. Not major. A crack (minor) developed in patio, they came to fix it but it did re-appear, there's nothing can be done to fix it. Visible minor crack on both sides of first step of porch due to the fact it was poured separately and there's expansion joint. Best to keep it as is. I believe it can't be fixed permanently due to normal separation.
Overall, we are satisfied with the job despite these issues. I've seen much worse jobs done by others. No one is perfect but Frank is very close. He's proud of his work and does all what he can to satisfy customers. Issues developed in our property are minor but our expectation were higher as we picked the highest in price offer. Thank you Frank!!!

We had our patio built back in 2013. I have just resealed it and the patio looks brand new all over again. I am so happy with the way it looks I wanted to post a couple pictures to show off Frank's beautiful work. Thanks again Frank. We still love it and spend many hours using it.

Our experience with Frank and his crew was very positive. Frank kept my husband and I informed every step of the way. His crew was polite, reliable and professional. They also do very good work. Our new front stairs are beautiful. Neighbours have come to admire them. Without a doubt, it was a challenging job because of our house elevation. There are 14 stairs. The crew made it look easy. Both my husband and I couldn’t be happier.

I have enclosed not just pictures of the final product but also of the process. Frank and his crew spared no detail in doing the job right. full rebar throughout. In areas where there was more loose soil they dug deeper to clay. It was a very involved process, but it was done the right way, and hope to enjoy my driveway for years to come.
In the end we have a product we can be proud of and also enjoy for the rest of our lives.
At any point in time, if we had a question or needed something changed. Frank and crew would be there within usually 24 hrs to address it in person.

I got this done last summer, it was already paid in full. I had a couple things that needed touching up. with 24 hours Frank and his crew were there power washing and fixing minor blemishes. And these blemishes were not even due to the work! Ontario concrete went out of their way to make me happy a year after they completed the job. One can only hope for companies like this that stand by their product 100% and continually provide service.

Our job included the driveway, as well as walkways at both sides of house. This included a concrete pad for out home generator. They also redid the stonework on our porch as well as building a stone pier to mount a light. In addition they did some fencing and gates. also a tiered garden out front.

They took care of everything! we felt comfortable not to babysit them. All things; landscaping, stonework, carpentry, gardening, electrical and concrete. We even went on vacation during some of the construction as we felt that comfortable with the staff and with Frank. We worried for nothing, everything was taken care of.

Everything was rebar (no cheap mesh) The walkways at side of house had rebar into the hosue foundation. Everything was graded perfectly, We have had zero issues with anything.

In all cases they dug to clay. In all cases they filled with gravel and achieved perfect drainage. Since we were new to stamped concrete, they even thought ahead having conduit under all the driveway and pathways in order to run cables later if I choose.

The staff always cleaned up after themselves, and in the month + long job, they always started promptly at 7am, and showed up earlier. There was never a case where someone was ever late. There was also never a case where our job was abandoned for someone else.

We got full service. We got full effort. We got full attention.

You really can't ask for more, and we are over the moon with the company and the final results.

I had my concrete walkway and stairs sealed, Frank was a pleasure to deal with, an honest business man and I would recommend him and his services in the future.

I am very grateful for Frank's vision for my wobbly front steps and very overgrown garden. I couldn't imagine what to do with the front of my house, yet Frank and his team transformed the look of it in only a few days, creating what will be a very welcoming space with an area to sit and enjoy the morning sun. The friendly team arrived bright and early each morning, ready to put in a full shift. The concrete work is excellent, and I would definitely hire Ontario Concrete Finishing again in the future. As my daughter would say: "10/10 highly recommend" :)

Frank & his team showed up as per estimated time and completed in a timely fashion. They are all very personable. You may pay a touch more however it is well worth it when you see the quality product they produce. A lot of neighbors have commented on the work performed and are inquiring themselves.
