Mountain Granite

Excellent project manager, Gerald who was helpful for all the various steps involved. The measurement when well and quickly and the installers were very professional and bilingual. Good value and friendly.

I was referred to Mountain Granite by my contractor (Eastside Contracting). I did some research online and ended up going on site to see the place, etc. As soon as I stepped in, I was greeted cheerfully and very professionally by Chantal. Then Nancy (the cowner) took me around, explained how things are done, etc. and answered all of my questions. Eventually, I met with my rep, Chris, who was also very helpful. After I eventually made a choice and renovations got under way, Sylvain came along to make a template. In one week's time, I had my kitchen countertop and 3 vanity countertops. The installers, Patrick and Jason, could not have been more pleasant.

Was the transaction pleasant? Absolutely. Were people courteous and professional? Most definitely. Was product and service delivered on time? Most assuredly. Was the price satisfactory and reasonable? Yes again.

Overall my experience was outstanding and I would not hesitate to do business with them again, and to recommend them. Please note that I dealt with the company located at 2280 Stevenage Drive, Ottawa and not on Triole.

they didn't bring all counter top and set another appointment for after two weeks that cost me plumber expenses
installers no friendly and want to not to do the job, telling I can not do this or that, or this our not our responsibility. broke my kitchen tiles and cost for me $1100 to change all of my kitchen's tile. Did not verify or ask questions even though I was on site. Did not bring all pieces for installation. Required re-measurement, and I never held tape. Failed to match corners to each other. Salesperson,installation crew and second templater were exemplary. Manager and first templater were unsatisfactory at best. Owner did not bother to return call.

Purchased bathroom quartz counter. Lovely material but wrong template, counter too short. Wrong backsplash template twice. Poor customer service; only got action when I spoke with manager. Still not resolved.

The quartz countertops are good quality and the edging on them looks great. Even though the seams are barely visible it was placed in the area that is used often which looking back on it I would have preferred it to be elsewhere. Also, we have a slide-in stove and I expected the slab would have a cut out for the stove but instead it had a seperate piece put by the back of the stove with 2 more seams - I wasn't told prior to installation that this is what would happen.
Overall though, good quality, professional installation staff and a good price.

We purchased a very "flaky" type of granite and unfortunately weren't advised of the risks of cracking. However Mountain Granite was good to seal the crack such that only we know where it is. I would recommend them as their service was quite good.

I had wonderful customer service and an overall great experience. The staff was friendly and experienced. I would refer mountain granite to my friends and family. I am very happy with my beautiful countertops.
