Pretty happy with my new home. No major issues, other than the typical issues that occur with any new home but the company was pretty easy to deal with and resolved my problems

Having built a "custom home" we loved being able to have our input on the design of our new home.We really appreciate the step by step process throughout the construction period.

I felt that the sales managers (Mr. Ron & Mark) who have helped me was very caring and understood my needs completely and I appreciated the processes throughout the build that allowed me to create exactly what I wanted. We really appreciate and thank the designers & the construction managers for making a home, which we love to live!

Thought that I had got a raw deal from Parkwood, but later an expert visited my home and was very impressed at the quality of workmanship.

The minor things which were mostly fixed by Parkwood, led me to believe otherwise.

Now after staying at this home for about 15 months, I am happy with their product!!!

We are very happy with our new home, we had an awesome salesman, Michael Pacey, who we worked with for about a year building our new home. We didn't always agree, but he always found a solution to our concerns. I would definitely recommend Parkwood and Michael as your salesman when building your new home!

We built a Waterford in Sherwood Park and having moved into our house in January, we can highly recommend Parkwood for a new home build.

One of the best parts of the process was dealing with those behind-the-scenes. Jill, their interior designer ... was absolutely fantastic in helping us make decisions. Colin, their architect, was able to help us change around the floor plan to suit our needs. Ryan, the construction manager, was accessible in addressing any concerns we had. Blair, our site superintendent, was easy to work with and was critical in ensuring we were pleased with the progress. His communication was second-to-none. Orest, our salesman, was excellent in assisting with all of our change orders.

Parkwood has some of the best trades hands down. These included: Chris from Paramount AV tackled all of the home automation, audio, video, etc. Tim, the electrician, guided us through ensuring we had the right electrical items in all the right places. I could go on and on, but these people were instrumental. Additional people that we also enjoyed working with (and I've probably left someone out): Arash whom did the insulated acrylic stucco, Chris and his finishing crew, Divine Hardwood, Danburg Flooring, their taping crews, painting crews, ... as well as others.

Mike Pacey was the first person we met when searching for a house in keswick. We were unsuccessful in our first attempt to find a house then with Mikes help we found our house in Glenridding.He was very helpful throughout this process.

I have been dealing with the warranty department to get outstanding jobs completed. It has been a nightmare dealing with Jennifer, the warranty manager, she has a very poor customer service skills, very difficult to deal with, I think she only listens to herself.

Excellent sales representatives, but very poor quality of construction and customer service after possession. After 1 year of possession there are many items to fix and finding more issues to the house. Most parts of the house required rework (leaking faucets, broken tile grout joints, exhaust bath fan vent without dampers, basement water leak , garage floor cracks wider than 3 mm etc.). Warranty department does a good job of emailing back to customers promptly but never ensures the job is done right the first time (running to failure and then fix). Re-work required on most issues and sub-contractors never knows about the real problem until they directly talk to us. Little consideration given to customer's preferences when scheduling things like pre-possession walk throughs, warranty work (they always explain why they are so busy and do not want to reschedule to fit the customer's schedule).

Our build with Parkwood was more than would could have asked for from start to finish. Parkwood took the time to understand us and our needs and designed a custom home to cater to all of them. We thought we would have a daunting task ahead choosing all the finishings for our house but it was made so easy with the help of their designer. Their on site design centre enabled us to amalgamate our finishes and turn a house into a dream home. Our relationship with the field staff started at the frame tour where they took us through our house explaining the construction process and going over some of the subtle nuances that make them a truly unique builder. They happily answered all of our questions and it was easy to see that they not only took pride in their work but wanted to ensure we were presented with the home we had invisioned. Our possession day came before we knew it and we were presented with a home that truly reflected us. Shortly after possession, once we had a chance to get settled, Parkwood came back to do an orientation of our new home. This included explaining the use of our mechanical systems and provided us with a helpful book outlining the care and maintenance of a new home. We couldn't be happier with our Parkwood home.

I really enjoyed the experience, right until we took possession of the house. Up until then everyone was friendly and very helpful. Once we took possession, trying to get them to fix what was wrong was a fight the whole way. We have lived in our house 3 yrs now and we are still waiting for them to fix minor things (that are quickly becoming big things). They always seem to have an excuses why it hasn't been done and why it can't be until the next season.
