Called May 3 when stove element failed. Took two weeks for a technician to arrive. Had to order the element. Didn't complete the work until June 9, so we were without the use of our oven for nearly six weeks. Total cost for installing a $15 item, $250.00. Not exactly great customer service.

Scheduled an appointment for servicing 2 weeks in advance. No one showed for appointment time. Was called the next day to set up a time. Technician was 1.5 hours late. I had no serial number or model on the oven and had told this to the technician previously as well as the receptionist when booking. He showed up, opened the door and said, "yep no serial number. " Told him the issue with the fan (same thing I reported when booking) and he said.."well, I'll see what I can do," "I'll try to order you a new fan". Then left.
I found the manual and read up on the issue in the trouble shooting section. It stated it could also be the Hall sensor. So I called the office to let them know, it could be either the fan or that. I explained that the manual said there is a diagnostic process to determine which part it could be so just that perhaps it needed more looking into before ordering parts. The receptionist was quite rude and said, "I'm sorry, are you a technician?!" She continued to say that "the tech knows what he's doing so..."
Very disappointed in this service I waited 2 weeks for. No phone call to tell me no one would be able to make it the day of the appointment. No phone call to tell me they would be late on the rescheduled appointment. Tech was here 5 mins and left with the same info I gave when I booked 2 weeks earlier. RUDE RUDE RUDE, receptionist. Very disappointed

Waited a month for them to come to my house to “look” at my dishwasher for warranty work. I only had my Maytag dishwasher for three months before it broke. Them “looking at the dishwasher” consisted of them just looking at the part that we pulled out of the drain which I could have emailed a picture of. Been waiting a month for the part to come in and heard nothing so called to check in. Parts are back ordered and should “hopefully be in by the end of december” then once it comes it I’ll have to wait another month for someone to be able to come fix it. The won’t let me book the appointment for repair until the part is in. Such a horrible system and has left me for months without a working dishwasher. When I originally called the warranty number that booked me in for the same week to have it looked at. Moore appliance then called me and was quite rude about me saying they told me I was booked in for a certain day as apparently that’s “not how it works” and “due to the area of town I live in” had to wait an extra two weeks to get an appt. If I actually had a choice who fixed this dishwasher it WOULD NOT be this business.

I live way out of town, and have called Moore's for appliance repair a few times over the past several years. In each case, they've responded well, sent a knowledgeable technician out to deal with the problem. The most recent call was to deal with a malfunctioning clothes washer. They did what they could, but to no avail.

They were apologetic, but informed me that the repair would cost mostly as much as a new machine. They could have made more $$ without telling me of the cost differential and just doing the repair. Nope! They gave me the right advice and are definitely my go-to service center.

I bought my stove and microwave (and other kitchen minor appliances) at Moore Appliances; they have a great variety of products to choose from and their staff helped me select the best fit for my budget range. I would definitely recommend them.
