We hired Rainbow International to clean up our basement (remove old framing, remove old flooring, and clean and seal cement walls). I had been concerned by some very minor, according to all the remediation companies which bid on the project, dark spots on our foundation walls. All the companies that bid on the work recommended we do it ourselves as there weren't really any health concerns, the work was very simple and the cost of hiring their specialists to do the work wouldn't be a good investment. We were in the process of renovating and wanted to start fresh. Also we had a 3 month baby at the time and I needed my nest to be CLEAN!!! Although I greatly appreciated everyone's candor that we should save our money and do it ourselves there just wasn't any free time for us to do it! Rainbow was in the middle price wise but I felt like I was getting more value for our dollars and they were extremely professional! Marcel was always a pleasure to work with and Pierre and Joe were wonderful. This very anxious first time mother was able to actually sleep for the fist time in months(during the couple of hours I could get our baby to nap...) knowing the basement was dealt with and in competent hands. Thank goodness we hired them to pull up the flooring instead of doing it ourselves -it turns out the flooring wasn't installed properly and we had some moisture problems underneath. Despite this surprise, Rainbow went above and beyond and cleaned up our floors! The grinded down the cement slab to remove all the old glue that was causing the problem. They really were wonderful to work with and they were incredibly patient with this first time mom! Every day they would give me a review of what they were doing and the products they were using. They used protective carpets for travel in and out of the basement. If we ever have any other issues with the house, I will be calling Rainbow!

Everyone I dealt with at Rainbow was pleasant, professional, and punctual. I liked that the technician explained the plan to us each step of the way. The work was done quickly, and the online invoice was detailed and accurate.

I had a new roof installed including soffitts and fascia, new siding and new windows installed in 2007. Last year 2010, I was getting extensive water leaking in around the windows. I had a number of people come and look at the problem with a variety of suggestions. I hired Rainbow as they were recommended by the insurance website. Snce these isses can be difficult to resovle without seeing the problem, we came up with a plan. We would look inside and see what we found. As iturned out, there was extensive damage under the new siding. The old soffitt was still installed under the new soffitt blocking air flow in the attic and also directing water from the roof into the walls and subsequently leaking out the windows. The windows and bulding wrap were also improperly installed. Rainbow staff uncovered the issue, explained clearly what was happening and provided a clear explanation how to resolve the issue. Staff were prompt, friendly, professional and went above and beyond to resolve a difficult and complex issue. My issue is resolved and I now have a solid grasp of what is behind my walls. We have had a number of severe weather storms and there is no water coming in. Not only that, but the outside appearance was improved with a remarkable attention to detail. I am very satisfied with this company and I would highly highly recommend them.
