I called mike because he was referred to me by my dad. We had widened the driveway and wanted to get it paved. We asked specifically to have the driveway cut straight down the existing driveway. We offered to do it ourself but mike said no we will cut it as part of the job. When the driveway was done they didn't cut it and when we addressed the concern mike was very unprofessional im the way he handled the situation. He said this is why he doesn't take on these small jobs and asked if he wanted us to come tear it out. All we wanted was him to acknowledge we didn't get what we asked for and propose a solution. Pretty disappointed with his lack of professionalism.

I decided to go with CA Auroa based on a recommendation from a coworker who also lives in Durban region, his driveway was paved 12 Years ago and still looks great. I am surprised to hear all of the unhappy customers with this company. They were very accommodating from the beginning of the project. Roy was very helpful, and the owner even negotiated the removal date of the old driveway more than once. The only reason I haven't given a 10 out of 10 is the driveway needs to stand the test of time. Otherwise, my new two car driveway looks beautiful, the neighbours are all giving the thumbs up compared to the tired driveway that was there, and the crew were professional and very efficient. 2014, the year of the new driveway, the whole family can park with ease!

I priced out many different companies to pave our very abused driveway. The driveway has cracks, pavement missing, crumbling, water damage etc. C Aurora was the quickest, cheapest, most professional company to deal with. Received a call a few days prior to the pavement work and they listened to what we wanted to driveway to be build again. Thank-you C. Aurora Paving Ltd. to help us put resale value to our home!

I had my driveway paved August 2011by this company. Not even a month after had it done, there was problems. It took me calling 2x a month for 9 months to FINALLY get someone out to look at it. I spoke with the owner numerous times and everytime I spoke with him, I had to explain the same thing over and over again. He told me he would personally come and look at my driveway and he did not!!
He instead, sent a worker to look at it. There is weeds coming up through the driveway 3 weeks after it was put down and that there was sinkage in the driveway and a long garage door, tire prints already in the driveway and faded.
His result in fixing the problem was to just patch it and tell me to use round up to get the weeds away. They also told me that the sinking is not covered under warranty. It happened 3 weeks after my driveway was put in, how can it not be covered?!?
In anyways, the patching does not fix the problem. It just makes my driveway looking unacceptable.
I'm an easy person to get a long with and this has completely disappointed as well as broke my heart that I pay this money to a company I thought would do a good job and they did not.
Please people, do not use them!! I would not want you have to go through the hurt and pain that I am feeling. :(

I contracted C.Aurora. I was very impressed with the servcie Mike the owner provided me from the get-go. He took the time to re-design my concept, and the outcome was fantastic. The job started and was completed without any issues and most importantly the C.Aurora crew were very efficient, clean and pleasent to deal with.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I hired this company in the Spring of 2010. They were not thorough with their clean up after the job, both on the street and in the garage. An approximate 3.5 foot, one inch in depth, crack appeared in the Fall of 2010. After many unreturned phone calls and a few letters, they attended to "seal" the crack. In the Spring of 2011, the crack re-appeared. Again, they "spot-sealed." I expect the same crack will re-appear in the Fall of this year and every year following. The crack also increases in size each time it appears.

This company paved my driveway & installed pre-formed concrete curbs
along one side of driveway in June/2007.A 2-year warranty was given
in writing at time of service.In Spring 2008 I contacted them to inform that the curbs had shifted & the asphalt had cracked over the winter.Although the owner inspected the damage and promised to
repair the affected area,NOTHING was ever done in spite of numerous attempts to rectify the problem! I had to employ another company to repair the damages at additional expense.
I would NOT reccomend this paving contractor!
