They called me 5 minutes before the appointment time and told me that they were going to be a 30 minutes late - they were over an hour late. They dragged the vaccum hose around 2 door jams and marked them up without any care being taken. They ran the Vacuum hose right over a small plant in the front yard. The technician seamed to know what he was doing. The helper pointed out that 2 of my Cold Air Return vent covers were broken but then in the process he broke 2 additional ones and never said anything. There was supposed to be a "free sanitiation" for the ducts which I was told would be fogged into the system - the tech didn't recommend the fogging because some people don't like the smell and he recommeded spraying the sanitizer right on the filter - but he didn't have the sanitizer on the truck so that didn't get done (Not a big deal to me). They pack up and almost left when I had to remind them about the Dryer Vent Cleaning. In the past when I have had this company clean the dryer vent they actually got in behind the dryer and blew air through the dryer and then through the vent from the inside - this time they just stuck an airhose into the vent from the outside and said it was done - I don't believe it was done correctly - they were running very late for the next appointment. But the worse part was they both asked to use the washroom (which had just been cleaned the day before) and one of them left urine all over the outside of the toilet bowl and on the tile floor. They were much less expensive than other companies so there was good value for the cost - however I would not recommend them and the next time I will pay more to have someone else do the work.

Happy with the prompt response time and overall service provided by Western. The control board on the furnace had shorted out, needed to be replaced and I explained this on the phone before the technician arrived. Everything was done professionally however the cost for the control board was $550 whereas this exact part can be ordered online and shipped for anywhere from $95 to $130. Marking up your parts is expected due to the costs associated with carrying inventory but doing so by over 400% is very disappointing.

My furnace stopped working. I called around and Western was able to send someone out sameday to fix it. Yuriy came and installed a new motor. He knew what was wrong and was able to explain it to me in laymans terms. Will be using them from now on and will recomend their service department.

We had Western Canadian come in and do a furnace cleaning as well as install a new humidifier. At the time we were happy with the installation and the service.

However, the following week our furnace stopped working. The Western Canadian furnace technician came and found a piece of cardboard from the old furnace filter that had ripped off and jammed in the furnace fan. This caused the motor to burn out, and resulted in a $700 invoice to replace it. This piece of cardboard ended up in the fan because the old filter was not removed carefully when the original cleaning was done the week before. They should have at least double checked to make sure that nothing had ripped off when pulling out the old filter. Our furnace is relatively new and would not have broken without this piece of cardboard getting stuck in the fan.

I have called multiple times and sent emails to Western Canadian with my concern. I have asked to speak to the manager, but my calls and emails have not been returned. I am frustrated by the extra expense this cost our family, and the poor customer service at Western Canadian Furnace Company. I would definitely not recommend this company.

The two techs were friendly. They were an hour late but advised me in advance about 40 mins ahead of my appointment. Left a mess in my yard of a large pile dryer lint they cleaned out. I contacted the company to voice my displeasure and dissatisfaction and never heard back. Disappointed I paid $170 to have to clean up their mess and then was ignored.

Thanks to the technicians Randal and Ram for the good service,they came on time and stay the whole hr.as they say it would lasts.I found them very professional and I happy that finally the furnace is clean.

Randal and his partner were excellent representatives of your company. They were so knowledgeable and explained everything to the smallest detail. I feel very confident with their workmanship and credibilty. They not only cleaned the furnace, they cleaned the dryer duct, chimney, fireplace and even found the Thermal Coupler on my furnace was going to go at any time!! They did both my duaghteres and miy place and now more then ever i feel the maintencae is complete and whay is the MOST important to me is we are all safe!!!
