Randal and his partner were excellent representatives of your company. They were so knowledgeable and explained everything to the smallest detail. I feel very confident with their workmanship and credibilty. They not only cleaned the furnace, they cleaned the dryer duct, chimney, fireplace and even found the Thermal Coupler on my furnace was going to go at any time!! They did both my duaghteres and miy place and now more then ever i feel the maintencae is complete and whay is the MOST important to me is we are all safe!!!

The two technicians were very punctual, showing up about five minutes before the scheduled appointment time.
They were friendly and professional, introducing themselves and then clearly explaining what they were going to be doing.
They went to work quickly and were very efficient. The technician that inspected/serviced the furnace brought to my attention two parts that were nearing the end of their life span - the flame sensor and the ignitor. He said that they may or may not last us through one more winter, but I wanted to be on the safe side and instructed him to replace both parts at their respective prices (about $120-130 for both parts combined).
They proceeded to clean out all the ducts in the house with their special truck vacuum and also cleaned out the chimney and gas fireplace.
All in all, they were punctual, efficient, reasonably priced, and professional. I will definitely be using them again in the future for my annual furnace/HVAC maintenance.

Technicians were unprofessional, rude, careless and arrogant. The tried to upsell me before they even started. One technician blew dust all over the house while the other one sat in a chair in the basement doing NOTHING, then he went and sat in the truck!! The vaccum was not running while the vents were blown so the dirt and dust just ended up all over the house. When I asked one of the guys why he wasn't looking at the furnace, he said he didn't want dust in his face. The 'technicians; also damaged my basement windows and my walls. I was finally fed up and asked them to leave. One of the technicians got extremely defensive and even more rude. He told me that he knew there would be problem. Really? He also said that he didn't like me watching them. Yes, I know why. Because they were doing NOTHING. The technician threatened to call the police (not sure what that was all about), but he refused to let me speak with his boss, nor was he willing to give me his supervisor's phone number. He did not want to put the furnace back together, but I wasn't going to let him leave before my furnace was running again.
And these are representatives of your company? Never ever will I use Western Canadian Furnace again or recommend them to anyone.
We are very sorry Lewis that things did not turned out very smoothly. We did everything we could to rectify the problems that occurred, i.e. issuing a full refund, fixing the minor damages on the wall and a window and make your experience with us much more enjoyable. We hope you will give us a chance in the future.
Really good service, discuss hypo-allergenic concerns. Knowledgeable. Kind and on-time. Professional and was not nosey like other companies around the house. Did a good assessment and made sure all vents were accounted for before starting the job.

Oct 25, 2010 I had this company come in to do a standard cleaning of my furnace.
the guy who came was abrupt and rude. He said I had a stack that was plugged up and needed more money to fix it.
I said NO i have no more money just clean it.
they said I had 19 registers so I paid for 4 additiona ones to be cleaned.
They cleaned and left
that nigth when my furnace came on it smelled like burning rubber
the next morning it smelled like my house was on fire.
I went to the basement and the furnace was struggling, making nosies etc.
I turned off the furnace and called they guys
They said they would send the guy out.
The same guy came back, went downstairs and said that the motor was fried and that I needed a new one.
I said well... it's under warranty of course
He said NO way,
I asked how much
He said $500.00
I said I want to talk to the boss.
I called the office, spoke to the boss, told him that I was going to call the Better Business Bureau.
that it was ridiculous, yesterday my furnace worked, today it doesn't and the only thing different was their visit.
I was pissed off.
finally I agreed to pay for a new motore including GST of $300
I waited about 3 hours for the owner to bring the motor, but still he didn't come into my house to apologize.
The guy put it in got my money and left.
I realize my furnace was 12 years old, so now i have a new motore.
The next day I was cleaning, I opened up some registers only to see that there was dirt, and some I even had shoved in towels which were still there. Interested, I looked at all 19. 3 of them were still a mess, and could not even have een remove
so they charged me for 4 extra to be done, but they never did them.
OMG, I called them again, and got a credit for the 3 of them on my account.
So would I recommend this company... NOT a chance.
