I'm writing to thank you for providing timely customer service. After the machine installation, for a couple of time when we were not exactly certainly about how to operate the machine. You responded the call and instructured me step by step. Your employees are very professional and they certainly know the techonology. Thank you again!

I recently moved into a 50 year old home that had an ac and furnace older than myself and my husband. They were loud, inefficient and had to go! We met with Cy at first to get a quote...but upon meeting we ended up getting much more than that. Cy provided us with the credible information...in fact, I feel better knowing more about these systems that are so important in our daily lives. I also felt Cy genuinely wanted the best for us....he talked about the rebates and even encouraged us to apply for the home energy audit! I'm glad I did this as it will cover some of the cost...and more!

The installation crew was quick, efficient and professional. They even went through the system with us after installation...I found this very helpful!

Overall the experience was great! I'm even thinking of using their services again when we are ready to install a new hot water heater.

Our 25+ year old A/C could not have died at a worse time, right in the middle of a heatwave! We are normally the type of people to do extensive research before requesting quotes, but given the circumstances, we jumped on Home Stars and quickly called some of the top-rated HVAC companies, including Spring Home.

We could not be happier with the customer service that we have received from Spring Home, from scheduling the initial in-home estimate to answering our questions even after the invoice was paid.

Upon calling Spring Home, a sales representative by the name of Cy Goh promptly scheduled an in-home visit. Unfortunately for Cy, he was the first to visit, so we asked him hundreds of questions, as we attempted to educate ourselves on the HVAC industry. Cy was extremely courteous and informative, spending the better part of 2 hours (no, that is not a typo) answering our questions and providing us different options, all while we sat in our sweltering hot kitchen.

After speaking with countless other HVAC companies, and having since done our research, we confirmed that Cy's explanations and recommendations were spot on. Spring Home was not the cheapest quote, but in an industry where the quality of the installation is as important as the equipment being installed, we decided to go with Spring Home for the job.

Spring Home's technicians arrived on time and went straight to work, working from 10am to 6pm. Their installers took the extra effort to ensure that all the piping was neatly laid out, and did not seem to bat an eye at our regular supervision. Further, they did not try to nickel and dime us by cheaping out on inexpensive parts. They worked independently, but were sure to ask for our input on installation decisions that needed to be made, such as where to run the piping.

Following the installation, Cy was quick to follow-up to ensure that we were happy. He was readily available to patiently answer any question that we had (and there were many).

Cy and his team were professional, courteous and timely. They put up a two head ductless air conditioning unit in one day, finishing the job despite repeated delays as a result of the rain. They did a good job explaining the process and paid attention to the aesthetic aspect of the installation. All of this for a reasonable price!

The reason I am writing this review because of the quality of service and trust. Spring Home installed a new furnace for me early this year,the installation was great and the technicians are professional.  Few days later the installation manager came to audit the installation job and adjust the furnace in order to optimize the performance. As I was told by Mr. George, the furnace default setting is according to the manufacturer’s lab, but in real world the working condition is not as perfect as the lab.I did not write a review  at that time because I was too busy until I was impressed when they helped me again. My daughter came back from university on a Friday early July and would have a birthday party at home with her friends the next day, unfortunately my air conditioner stopped working Friday afternoon…such a bad day… so I called George, he showed up in one hour and found that it was not fixable. After I explained to George how important the air condition was for my daughter tomorrow. He promised me to have an emergency team to do the installation in the evening. What his words were” you are my customer and I take care of my customer”.I know it was hard for them to have a team immediately in the hot air conditioner season, the installer came around 7:00PM and they finished around 12:00AM midnight. They did it.
I highly recommend Spring Home to all of my friends and families,
because they not only do great job, but also take care of their
customer(this is the most important to me!!).

Cy from Spring Home was very knowledgeable, helpful, and not pushy.
Because he was very professional and detail oriented, it made me confident to go with their service after getting quotes from many different places. He did not try to sell higher priced units, and made us feel very comfortable to make our own choice. We asked many questions, and Cy was very enthusiastic about answering all of our questions and more.

Installation was exceptional. Installers were very neat, and swept the floors before and after the installation. Very well trained, meticulous, and professional. All pipes and hoses were very well laid out in our walkout basement, hence looking very clean.

Best part is their after service. I believe after service is very important when it comes to HVAC. Cy called after a couple of days to see if everything is working ok, and 24/7 emergency service is also a peace of mind. Their warranty is also better than other competitors, and I'm confident that their service will stay this way for many years to come.

I replaced my old system with American standard furnace, A/C and air cleaner by Springhome last month, my old system was quite noisy, and the new system is very quiet. My bedrooms on the second floor were hot, right now, although I set the same temperature as before, the bedrooms’ temperature is comfortable and my families sleep much well.
The installation technicians are very professional and experienced, the new system is well installed. There is no air leakage from the connection, and the working area was cleaned up when they left.
And thanks very much to James, when he came to my house to do the estimation he gave me a lot of advise to improve my system and explained very clearly to me how the new system can save my energy bills, now my family have a much better living climate in our house.

We found out about Spring Home from our energy auditor who highly recommended them. Got a quote from Cy, who was extremely professional and honest. A few days later, George came by to make sure what we ordered would truly suit our house. Installation went smoothly and exactly on time, just like Cy said it would. Overall, wonderful experience and would highly recommend if you need a great a/c and furnace!

We had been shopping for a new heating and cooling system since moving in to our house about a year ago to replace an older furnace and a non-functioning air conditioner. We researched various brands of equipment and had a number of contractors visit our home to provide estimates for the work.

After doing our research and settling on an American Standard/Trane system we had a number of contractors visit to provide estimates, but we just weren't completely satisfied that all of the details were being addressed --- that was when we noticed the reviews for Spring Home Heating & Cooling on HomeStars and decided to give them a call.

Cy was able to make an appointment to visit us the very afternoon that we had called. After our discussion with Cy and his review of our requirements and installation details we were most comfortable with Spring Home Heating & Cooling doing the job versus the other contractors. Cy showed us where some other contractors may take some short-cuts (IE: not using matched A/C coils, using existing duct work instead of replacing where required, not installing return air ducts with vanes to distribute the air flow across the whole filter, etc.). These are things that other contractors didn't even discuss with us and when I called them back to inquire they weren't able to answer our questions. Cy even called in George for a visit that same afternoon for a second opinion to make sure that they would be able to accommodate our installation requests since we were replacing a mid-efficiency model and the direct venting requirement for our new high-efficiency furnace was posing a challenge in the completely finished basement. They also made sure to double-check that the system we had selected would qualify for the maximum rebates available (making sure that the system registration for the furnace, A/C and A/C coils were registered with the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) with the expected SEER rating to ensure that it qualified for the tier II air conditioner rebate from the OPA).

We arranged for an installation date in early June and Cy was very responsive and answered any questions or concerns via phone or e-mail that we had before, during and after the installation was completed (in fact I am sorry that I've taken so long to post this review given how responsive everyone at Spring Home Heating & Cooling was to any of our questions).

The installation crew arrived on-time and worked diligently through the day to complete the installation. The quality of the work was excellent and all of the details were taken care of --- the installation was very clean and neat and tidy (see the pictures). After the install we were shown how to operate the humidifier, clean our new air cleaner, how to operate the controls and provided with all of the manufacturers documentation. Cy followed-up via phone immediately after the installation crew had left to make sure that we were satisfied and to see if we had any questions or concerns.

Since I am so late in posting this review (Sorry guys!) I can also comment that everything is working perfectly for the last two months (very glad that we have a functioning air conditioner). Shirley and the team were very quick to process the OPA rebates (our cheque is on the way) and the guys returned our old rental hot water heater to the rental company the very next day.

In short I am very glad that we decided to make the call to Spring Home Heating & Cooling and I am extremely satisfied with the products that we purchased and the quality of the installation and customer service both pre-sale and post-sale. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family.
