Classic Fireplace and BBQ Store

In May we purchased a Napolean Prestige Pro Gas BBQ, and the service and overall experience was so good, that when we decided to install a firepit (Dekko) we did not hesitate to go back to Classic. On both purchases we did our research ahead of time, so new the quality of the products. The team at Classic is “top notch”! Bruce on the sales side was able to help us decide on the best models given our needs, and was extremely helpful and professional throughout the process. In addition, the service teams were fantastic with the install and after sales support. For the Dekko, Rick installed our gas line and did a great job. Rick along with Steve did the install of the firepit, again great job. In short we would
not go anywhere else for our future BBQ and fireplace needs.

Thank you to Terry of Classic Fireplace Ajax ( Hwy 2 & Church ) for arranging the proper product, and coordinating first the removal of the old wood burning insert, thank you to Zack and John for a speedy, efficient clean takeaway . . . !! Then the install of the New Unit by Dwayne and Kyle, a perfect Team working together, great job to fish the new gas line through the basement with no complaints. Even better job to place the fireplace surround within the brick surround after grinding the framed dimensions that initially were too small, to leave a product visually that looks like it was made to measure from the beginning !!

Classic removed an old gas fireplace in our sunroom, re-framed the opening and installed a new one. From start to finish, the service has been top notch. Josh came out and assessed it, Bruce did a quote and was very responsive to inquiries and changes, and Stephen did a great job of installing. When the contractor doing the stone needed the fireplace adjusted a little bit, Stephen returned immediately to make the necessary adjustments. Great service. Great company. Great fireplace. Amazing install of a converting a wood fireplace into a gas fireplace with a Valor insert, it's beautiful. Also installed 2 lines for my bbq and another one for our fire table. The quote was done early 2020 by the owner Josh, who was so personable and patient and gave a quote right on the spot. Then to be followed up by Bruce with a formal quote via email with all the details. Finally decided to book, and had them schedule to come in. Covid hits so things get delayed and as soon as they were allowed to be up and running, I received a call to set up my install. Install happened less fire table as this was on back order. They said no problem whenever you get we will come back and connect. Sure enough as soon as my firetable came and we assembled it, emailed Bruce and and sent Stephen out to finish the last line to be connected. Stephen & his crew were absolutely amazing, hard workers and on point. I would recommend this company over and over again. I may have missed this in all the conversations but I didn't realize they resurface fireplaces too as we had an old brick one that we hired another contractor for. I would have done start to finish with Classic had I known.

I called the Scarborough location for another maintenance and cleaning visit. Zach came by again to manage the situation. He was right on time, very courteous and friendly. He answer all my questions, had all the tools with added drop clothes and was knowledgeable at answering my questions and showing me how to properly work my gas fireplace. This is the second time he has come to my house (first visit over a year ago) and he offered the exact same wonderful service. I cannot recommend him and Classic Fireplace enough, well done!

Our fireplace was installed by Classic Fireplace several years ago and was serviced today by their employee Zack Archambeault. He was prompt, completed the job quickly and explained what he was doing. I highly recommend this company and this employee

Classic Fireplace was not the company who installed the Fireplace originally but have been very helpful troubleshooting with me over the phone over the years with any issues or concerns.
Because of Covid we could not get anyone out in March/April so we had to wait until now to book a technician for service.

Service was on time, quick, efficient, clean and thorough. Zack (Service Tech) was helpful, knowlegeable and friendly.

For a number of years we had been trying to get a wood burning fireplace insert for our curved fireplace. We had contacted two other contractors who checked and advised that there was nothing on the market that would work for us. We stopped by Classic Fireplace and BBQ Store on Rylander Blvd. and spoke with Edward, gave him our drawing of the fireplace and a photo. He directed us to look at a Napoleon insert while he checked whether he had something that would work. When we went back to the front of the store he told us that he had a unit that would work. Needless to say, we were very pleased. He gave us a quote and set up a meeting with Josh who would check to make sure that it would work. Josh came by when scheduled, did the measurements and said that it would fit well. We gave the go ahead and Josh said he would order the unit (a Napoleon S201 - wood insert) and fabricate the trim and let us know when it would be installed. Two weeks later we got a call from Edward and the installation was scheduled for Wednesday. The installers, Steve and Sean, arrived right on time, laid down matts and blankets to protect the floor, and installed the insert. They finished earlier than expected. The insert looks great! And works well. We had a first fire Friday night and the heat was strong and no more smoke coming into the house as we had experienced with our regular fire place. Three and a half weeks from our first meeting with Edward the fireplace insert had been installed. We can not say enough about how pleased we are with the service that we received from Edward, Josh, Steve and Sean. Top notch. Not only did Edward find a unit that would work for us, Josh made sure that it would fit and explained how it would work, and Steve and Sean installed it in half a day. Great work guys!

I liked the product and the service very much. Everything is clear, fast, understandable. We discussed delivery details, checked the order price. Delivered by a transport company as close to home as possible. The check was sent to email. The grill gave us extremely positive emotions, everything is reliable. I hope it will work for a long time. I recommend it to everyone.

We had a wood burning fireplace installed where there wasn’t one before. Josh was Knowledgeable and friendly. He explained all our options and details. Babz was fast to respond with our quotes and booking the install date. The work was done on time and without fuss. We are now enjoying our new stove!
