Classic Fireplace and BBQ Store

We bought a new gas fireplace and had it installed. The advice and help from the store was great, and the installation was meticulous, quick, and very clean. We could not be more satisfied.

Our experience with the Team from Classic Fireplace in Ajax was exceptional. Terry came to our home to assess our needs and discuss options. There was no pressure to make a quick decision. In fact, he recommended visiting his showroom to select the most appropriate fireplace for our home. When the installation date arrived, the tandem of Steve and Shawn arrived promptly. They performed the install in a very courteous and professional manner. A thorough demonstration was provided before they departed. Classic Fireplace exceeded our expectations.

A few years ago, I bought a gas BBQ and a fireplace from this company. Sales are the easy part but follow up service can be poor. This company was excellent is all it did. The service/repair was extraordinary and Zack was so helpful.

I late 2020, I had a problem with our front fireplace. Classic came to fix it but the repair didn't work as we needed a new gas unit. Getting spare parts and new units can be very difficult with C-19 but Lori worked her magic to move things around and get the new fireplace installed with tech help from Zach. What a team and what a company!

Our fireplace had not been working for several years and had been examined by several other technicians. Travis from Classic Fireplace came in and discovered the problem with ease. He was able to get it working again even while I had to wait for parts to be ordered. Zack then came in when the parts arrived and voila. I will not be using anyone else in the future.

Classic Fireplace is the first store I contacted who knew more about the BBQ then I did! And they followed through with flawless on site delivery and installation. Highly recommended.

Cliff and Steve at the Beaches store were wonderful to deal with pre and post sales and installation. The dynamic duo installers Dwayne and Kyle were awesome, so nice, professional and they left my home in pristine condition....they do more vacuuming than I do! This company and its people are fantastic, I highly recommend them...a total class act.

The crew that came in to remove the old fireplace and install the new one we’re excellent. However, the crew that removed the old tiles and mantel and installed the new tiles as well as custom built and installed the new mantel deserve special recognition. Brad, is a first rate finishing carpenter. It is extremely difficult to find someone that capable, and Classic Fireplace is very fortunate to have him as part of their team. He was very diligent and to top it off very clean.

From start to finish, Karen's Classic Fireplace team did an incredible job helping us pick the right unit and then guiding us through the install and finishing process.

We really love the field stone surround installed by Adam and Ben, and the the barn board mantle built by Brad.

Excellent service from start to finish. Bruce at Classic Fireplace was both knowledgeable and informative. Really took the time to explain all the ins and outs. Josh did the site inspection and safety was his main priority. Major shout out to Brad who rebuilt our fireplace. He was punctual, very pleasant and his workmanship was impeccable. Cleaned up as he went along and respected our house as if it was his own. He was a pleasure to work with. He did a fantastic job!

We called Classic Fireplace (Ajax location) as we knew our gas fireplace was on it’s way out and wanted a change in terms of the mantel. It was basically a “one stop shop”. Terry was great! He answered our call and was out to measure the following week. He provided suggestions on what unit would best suit our needs. Terry had the quote to have all the work done including a new a stone wall with barn beam mantel within a few days The job was booked and completed on the days scheduled.
Brad did a beautiful job on the wall and installing the new mantel.
We couldn’t be happier!!
