Dealing with Edward at the store was a pleasure. He is professional, kind and courteous. He answered all our questions and provided the solutions we were looking for.

Also, have to mention the installer Steven. Extremely passionate about his work, professional, very responsive and knows exactly what he’s doing. Didn't have to worry about anything while he was here as he is very detailed oriented and made adjustments where necessary.

I highly recommend Classic Fireplace to anyone in the GTA that is looking for gas fireplace installation, BBQs and gas line service.

Had been trying for months to have this fireplace installed with another company that was supposed to be good. Never returned calls, or emails. Then we decided to go to Classic Fireplace in Ajax. Terry was amazingly helpful, eager to come and see our fireplace. He easily found solutions to a "small" issue. He put us at ease and had the best install team sent to our home. Steve and Shaun- not enough that I can say - you were on time, you made it all look so easy, tidy, clean, amazing work. Thank you for doing your job so well. We are so happy with our fireplace, of course we used it immediately. You want or need a fireplace, go see Terry and his team in Ajax, you won't be disappointed. Don't waste your time going to anyone else!

My husband and I were extremely pleased with the conversion of our old brick wood-burning fireplace into a beautiful stone gas fireplace. The workmanship was excellent; the guys were very pleasant to have in our home; and they kept the space as clean as possible.

In the early winter 2020 (of all years), our fireplace stopped working. It was time to replace it. After a consultation with Babz, we arranged a consultation with Josh. We learned that our old fireplace was over 20 years old. Josh shared a brochure with some sample models and we selected a model and design that we liked for our home.

The next steps involved coordinating paperwork between our condo manager and Babz, who is so kind and pleasant to work with. She had everything in order!

When it was time for Stephen and Shawn to remove the old fireplace and install the new fireplace, everything went smoothly. They worked diligently and independently and well together. They followed all safety precautions and wore PPE. Before they left they provided a detailed overview about how to use the new fireplace, digital thermostat, and reassured us that a technician would return for annual maintenance and cleaning.

Overall it was a great experience working with all team members of Classic Fireplace, and this is why we have given a 5-star rating!

Last November when my gas fireplace stopped working, a good friend recommended that I contact Classic Fireplace for servicing. I knew the fireplace was old and that parts were scarce, so when the technician took a look inside and told me that the base was cracked, I realized it was time to have it replaced.

Shortly after, Terry Ryan came over to take a look at my fireplace and helped me to choose a new one that would fit perfectly. I was delighted to find out that the service call I paid was taken off the balance of my new fireplace. It might seem like a little thing but I felt like it just added to the positive experience.

Last week Steve and Shawn came do the installation, and in the process of doing so, they found that my old fireplace had some very creative venting issues, plus it had not been installed to code. Scary! It took them a little longer than expected but they didn't rush the job, they took their time to make sure it was done right. In fact, Steve came back a few days later to do a couple of touch ups and it looks amazing.

Terry, Steve and Shawn were professional, courteous and there is no doubt in my mind that they really care about the job they are doing. I can't recommend them enough!

We purchased a new gas fireplace from Classic recently. Terry was extremely informative and very helpful in selecting a fireplace for us that we would love and was within our budget. Today was installation day and we couldn’t be happier. Dwayne and his son, Kyle, were pleasant and professional. They wore masks the entire time in my home and left their work area spotless before leaving. Once complete we were given instructions on use, battery replacement and glass cleaning. The fireplace is gorgeous! The whole experience was terrific. Thanks to Terry, Dwayne and Kyle on a job well done.

We purchased a new gas fireplace from Classic Fireplace and BBQ in January, but due to COVID it was delayed until March 1st. It was great to get the fireplace before the next cold snap. The salesperson, Terry, listened to our requirements and we came up with a fireplace which met all of our criteria. When the installers, Dwayne and his son arrived on March 1st, it was very exciting. We let them get on with their work and it was all complete about 1:00pm, with the fireplace warming our family room. It was great service and they wore masks inside while doing the work. Everything worked out well and the end result was beautiful.

We had our fireplace checked and cleaned. Our fireplace looks like new. We had the technician, Zach, and was amazing. We will 100% deal with you again on any products moving forward.
