Travis came in a diagnosed the issue with a 20 yr old gas insert fireplace right away. He was polite, efficient, and friendly. He ordered parts and came back as promised. I highly recommend this store and the technician Travis. PS Work was from Ajax location.

After extensive research I phoned Classic Fireplace & BBQ, Whitby and discovered that this company could meet all the demands of a dream project on my 1920s home.
Directed to visit their Rylander location (near Port Union, Scarborough) to see the very specific fireplace models I was looking for was just the start of my incredible experience.
Bruce, Babz, Jamie (and helper) and Josh are all superb experts at supporting newbies at getting a wood stove installed from scratch. Bruce listened to all my concerns and questions. He was thorough and educated me on all aspects of the process. Babz helped co-ordinate a flawless timeline for completion. Josh is certified in what seems like everything imaginable for this type of work and completed a home visit to ensure everything would be just as I hoped. Jamie and his helper were lovely, and did a perfect (not an overstatement) installation job. They left the house cleaner than when they got there too.
I was treated with kindness, respect, and courtesy. I can tell this team loves what they do and helping people.
All timelines and communications from start to finish were very responsive.
I would not hesitate to use this company for your fireplace needs and dreams. I love my Jotul.

We are very satisfied the outcome of newly gas fireplace installed last week. I was absolutely impressed by the work performance of Technicians Stephen and Reliy. In a such harsh wreath of -15 degree with the icing condition, they were climbing up and down to the roof to install fireplace flue, working really diligently and efficiently to get the job done. Steph checked all the gas connections carefully and put insulations where needed. They were also good at paying attentions to the details -in order to level the gas fireplace unit, they removed/chiselled away a layer of the existing floor inside of the fireplace, so the result is great! We would like to express our gratitude for their great workmanship and custom service. Thank you for your great work!
Further more, we also would like to thank for the Company Owner Josh (who came to my home for the inspection), and Queen St. shop/office managers Steve and Cliff for their dedications and patience for the customer. They were very patiently to explained every detail for us. This is a great company with great people!

Purchased a new fireplace for our house. Babs is the main service manager and know all products inside out. A lucky cancelled accelerated our installation. Super professional licensed installers put new chimney chutes and fireplace in only a few hours. Outstanding!

With the help of the AMAZING and cannot be duplicated Edward who helped me continuously with my design layout. I knew what I wanted and he delivered. I honestly only have positive things to say about this company. Babz is fantastic, she taught me so much. Josh’s team was professional and provided great customer service. They were super knowledgeable too. Brad is the cleanest contractor we’ve ever had in our home. They did an amazing job on our new gas fireplace. The picture speaks for itself.

I ordered a new fireplace with installation services and must say that in a world where finding decent customer service is hard... Classic Fireplace & BBQ Store is a beautiful throwback to the days that you actually get the service you want.

They custom built a riser for the fireplace unit to sit on so our view was optimized, the installer saw that there would be temporary exposure of the riser until I finished adding new trim so offered and actually painted the riser for our benefit. Add the cleanliness, thoroughness, professionalism and I was and am blown away!

I trust these guys from Bruce in sales at the store, to Josh (the owner) who came out to inspect the setting to be sure everything would be perfect, to the installers who were efficient, kind, friendly, and quick!

Honor is due to Classic Fireplace (Beaches Toronto) for finessing the replacement of an obsolete corroded gas fireplace in my warehouse loft and installation of a beautiful new Dimplex model electric fireplace. From first contact with Karen to Terry's friendly guidance and unfailing support, to Steve's superb skills -- literally cutting his way to a solution for this long and surprisingly complex transition - I had the best team. Without them, I would never have made the tight timeline for an important property sale. They saved me -- and created a pathway for others in this building who want a similar green solution. We were in the market for a BBQ set. Our sales person Bruce introduced us to the various Napoleon models, followed by their Phantom series with no sales pressure.

They also offer gas line install, that was done professionally (confirming with us each step of the way, what our BBQ preference locations are, putting the pipes together, apologizing for any noise, labelling and putting top coat paint).

After all the install they spent 10-15 minutes showing us how the BBQ works, considerations we should be mindful of and high level cleaning instructions.

My family and I were extremely impressed!

The service was incredible from our first appointment with Terry to the installation of our fireplace. The after care has also been top notch. Would highly recommend this company. They show up and do the job on time and on budget!
