Bain Magique

If you are a landlord and looking to repair or renovate a bathroom in a timely fashion, I would advise against Bain Magique. Here are the contents of an email directly from the owner himself, written on August 7 and following a consultation that took place in June:

"Unfortunatly theres no date before November the 25th regarding the work at [address]....Are scheduales dates for any customer is within tree months waiting period after the signature by the owner for any jobs schedualed by Bain Magique."

A period of six months elapsing between consultation and installation, or 3 months between signature and installation, may lead to conflicts with tenants who are within their rights to expect prompt repairs.

The owner of this company is also rude and dishonest.

Issue with booking appointments, not coming on time and calls to reschedule on the same day. Workers can be rude, thinking you cannot hear them from the other room. Also, they don't seem to be happy doing their work.

Product is cheap.

They did not measure bath walls properly and the installer completely messed up the install and left the project incomplete. We called to complain and told them not to charge our credit card they said they would not. The owner came out said she would re do the walls and sent installer back to measure. Project is still not done and we note they charged the full amount to our credit card. They are a disaster. Stay away.

Be careful about the "Lifetime Guarantee". Job done 3 years ago and now I have to pay for sanding on the bottom of the bathtub. Why this should be needed so soon and why I have to pay? Mystery? Am investigating with consumer protection.

We had some bathroom renovation done on a property the person who completed the Reno on March 20,2020 was very much qualified, responsible and very well trained.
We were very satisfied with his work .. he showed his experience and we will definitely recommend him for any future renovation that we may have..

Am not satisfied with the service we reveived.
First, the wrong shower head was installed.
Second, they installed the wrong tub.
Third, all the measurement were incorrect, causing much more cutting, this being done in my kitchen.
We are still waiting word from Bain Magique, as to what they will do to rectify the situation. This was a disaster

I had a horribly old and rusty bathtub that I wanted to change without carrying out an entire bathroom renovation. The Bain Magique acrylic refit was my first choice and although the salesperson was a bit pushy, I did find their service generally good. The process was quick, took a few hours! The end result is good but I feel that the price is steep.
