I would highly recommend Goeman's Appliances! Outstanding service and very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The quality of the products they sell are first rate! We bought all of our appliance at Goeman's and have been very happy with the service we have received before, during and after our purchase! Way to go Goeman's!

We saw a promo ad in the paper and went to see what they had in the store. They had a package deal for new appliances - fridge, stove and dishwasher - at a great price (under $2000). The salesman was great. He customized the package for us and helped us determine what our needs were. We wanted a larger fridge and they were able to accommodate us at a small price increase. We also needed a range hood and microwave and the salesman helped us choose ones that would be appropriate to our family. Overall the experience was much simpler and more pleasant than I would have thought it would be. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

WOW! What fantastic customer service!! Very knowledgeable staff! They took the time to walk me through every brand of each appliance I needed to purchase. They didn't try to 'up sell' me on the the most expensive products, but instead...they tried to find the appliance that best suited my needs. The appliances were delivered on time...and they were exactly what I ordered! A very impressed customer!!!

On 14 Jan of 2010, i ordered a new Bosch cooktop and range hood from Goemans in St Catharines and put $500.00 down on the purchase It was indicated that the Bosch cook top was not in stock, but would be there in approx 2 weeks. The two weeks became FIV.E and we were without a stove for that period.

However, I did pick up the range hood and in accordance with their policy. paid for it in full on pick-up. Similarly when I picked up the cook top in mid Feb, I was given a receipt indicvating my account was at a xero balance.

In Jan 2010, the account rep in St catharines (Nichole?) called to say there had been an error and that, in fact I owed a further $400.20. She was puzzled as to how this occurred (given that their policy is to demand payment on pick-up) and even sent a copy of another invoice, prepared a week after my pick-up, that indicated this outstading amount. This despite the copy of an invoice, # S000016710, dated Feb 12 (the pick-up date) I have that clearly indicates zero balance!

On calling the St Catharines office to discuss this, I was asked by the person answering the phone, (Ryan?) to call back in half an hour as the accountant was busy!!!!! Totally unbelievable customer relations.

I would never deal with this establishment again.

I purchased a washer and dryer from them. Great selection and have all the major brands and european ones like bosch and miele. The reasons I went there is because they have custom sizes not just standard ones. Their prices are cheaper than sears.

I was recommended by my builder to look at Goemans for my appliances. I can't thank them enough.

I shopped around and saved almost $1500 off of the best price I found elsewhere. (I went to Sears, Leons, The Brick, and Future Shop.)

The saleperson was Dave and he was extremely knowledgable. He provided the cabinet people with all of the information they needed to do the job properly and without complications. The delivery team was excellent. They were careful not to damage my new walls and woodwork and were very polite and helpful.

The installers came the next day and hooked everything up safely and professionally. I thought the price was high but I didn't know any better. Once I realized that 3 different trades were involved, (gas, plumbing and electrical) and how important an experienced installer was, I changed my mind, especially since they were the only installers to guarantee the workmanship for a full year.

I did have a glitch with the front loader washing machine but Lori in service had it taken care of before my laundry piled up.

I read some of the reviews and realized that it was important to respond with a good comment since most people only speak up when they had a problem. Being a retail owner myself, I know how it's impossible to make everyone happy. Issues occur, and the appliance business, as I have learned, is not a simple one. I would not expect the installation to be free now that I see what is involved.

I would never trust anyone but Goemans to do that kind of work in my home.

Had never purchased here before - always found them a bit too pricey. Old dishwasher was on last legs, finally, after 15+ years (Inglis!). Tried all the usual places - Sears, Caplans, etc. Goeman's ran an ad and had exactly the brand/model we wanted, and at a great price. Naturally out of stock, but they ordered it and honoured the price. Arrived pretty much when they estimated. No, we did not take their installation service (a little pricey; went to Alf Steffler); and we picked it up, so no delivery charge. But - great price; great product; works fabulous.

I had always purchased my appliance from Goeman's - a trait that I've picked up from my parents. We set our delivery date in accordance with our sub-contractor installer's schedule. Knowing that we've been a loyal customer of Goeman's you would think they would throw in free installation and their installation rate is very expensive. Anyways on the day of our so called delivery no one showed up. I called Goeman's and somehow the answer I got was that we were not home to answer the door. WHATEVER GOEMAN'S. We did not even get an appology nor compensation. Customer service is digusting at Goeman's. Never will I go back to any Goemans.

2 weeks prior to delivery I contacted Goeman’s to inquire if there would be any problems brining the fridge into our new home and provided the width and length of our front door. Our Sales rep Brian indicated got back to us the same day and advised his delivery team would not have any problems delivering the fridge and they are professional in handling such appliance. Day of delivery 2 delivery employees from Goeman’s arrived and delivered our stove and delivered the incorrect riser but said they needed 4 employees in get the fridge into our kitchen and they would schedule the delivery the next time they are in Milton. 2 days later 4 delivery employees showed up and they said they needed 4 stronger employees to get the fridge into our kitchen and asked if they can leave the fridge in our garage to avoid excessive handling of the fridge which we agreed. 3 days later a supervisor showed up at our home and said they are unable to deliver the fridge to our home through our front door but can deliver it through our back door (which is smaller than the front door) BUT we are required to break down our kitchen pantry cabinets at our cost!!! Needless to say I called our builder and they stated Goeman’s can deliver the fridge through the front door and they should not have to ask us to break down our kitchen pantry for their convenience. So I called a contractor for another opinion and they stated they can deliver the fridge through the front door and there is no way to deliver it through the back door without smashing a few bricks on the outside of the house. I AM ADVISING EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM GOEMAN APPLIANCE. I am still waiting on a few more quotes from other retailers. Stay tuned for more updates.
