AVOID AT ALL COSTS. NOT AN HONEST COMPANY!!

- They came to my house and told me the error code displayed on my machine. I ALREADY TOLD THEM this error code over the phone when I originally called, why did you come to my house and charge me $150? You added no value to me. They didn't even open the machine and look at it!

- Told me 4 parts where broken. Cost to fix = $1200. How do you know all these 4 parts are broken WITHOUT opening and looking, and what are the chances 4 parts break AT THE SAME TIME!

After these few red flags I took my business elsewhere. Only 1 part was needed to fix my machine ($200).

I opened a dispute with my credit card company and will be getting my $150 back. Do not trust these guys. They'll tell you anything to get your money.

AVOID at all costs.

My experience trying to get an oven and washing machine fixed... PRICE...Home Appliance Repair Inc. inflated a part price by 79% on top of the retail price of the first oven part...this is on top of the wholesale discount they already get from the manufacturer...this was on a $428 part ...a 2nd but cheaper 2nd oven part was inflated 47% on top of the retail...a third and the cheapest part, for the washer, a 25% inflation on top of the retail price. Funny how the most expensive part gets inflated the highest percentage.
QUOTES and billing surprises...good luck in figuring them out. Be very aware they do not have an hourly rate even though on the quote under qty. beside the word labour they seem to indicate a time line...extremely high fees for labour that makes no sense
$275 to fix the oven which took 2 hours...$249 to fix washing machine which took 20 minutes.
RELIABILITY...asked twice not to have the same service provider to come back for a third time after he ordered the wrong part then put the original back in wrong...after he left I turned the oven on for dinner and it went nuts when I tried to turn it off it wouldn't go off, the fan started on on its own, then went off on it's own the digital display went nuts I had to turn the breaker off for safety. I was out of an oven for a week. When the technician came back to install the correct circuit board he opened the guts of the oven and said "oh I smell smoke"...he smelled smoke...how about that, he said when he had fit the original part back he bent a wire so it didn't connect properly, good thing I had turned off the breaker.
RELIABLE...I asked TWICE for a different technician to come back and install the correct circuit board, oh ya the original technician ordered the wrong circuit board, I said I was sorry but just didn't feel comfortable with the fist chap back, even though he was very nice my confidence level was not there. Home appliance repair inc. said 'no problem'. Who showed up at my door to do the final installation...you guessed it.
......I am now waiting for the owner to call me. I have asked for an explanation of why the first chap showed up at my door and what they would consider next steps to be....me I am not using this oven until I feel safe using it....for me that means send someone to double check this guys work. We shall see!

Two years ago when our freezer broke down, we called Home Appliance Repair to fix the problem. We had a great experience from the level of professionalism their technicians exhibited to the prompt service we received. This week when our Samsung dryer broke down I didn’t hesitate to call Home Appliance Repair to fix the issue. They showed up right away and diagnosed the problem. Our dryer was back up and running within a week! Another great experience with this company, I would without a doubt, call them for future repairs.

Just before the Christmas holidays our stove broke down. Knowing that I was having all of my family over, getting the stove fixed and back to regular functioning became my top priority. I called Home Appliance Repair and from the first phone call all the way through to the end of the repair they provided excellent service. The technicians were professional, knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions. They kept the work space tidy and made sure to clean up after the job was complete. Honest, reasonable, approachable and excellent customer service response times all helped to make my stove function so that I didn’t have to stress during the busy holiday season- that’s a great company! I will definitely be calling Home Appliance Repair if I ever have any other appliance malfunctions.

Our Bertazzoni range door was not closing properly. It would make a loud bang everytimevit closed. Sidney quickly assessed the problem to be the hinges. Parts were ordered and he returned to replace the hinges. Sidney was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I would definitely request his services in the future. This visit was covered by an extended warranty.

I liked the work done very much: the issue was clearly explained to me and the problem fixed.
I did not need any new parts.
BUT I found the price really steep: I was quoted a cost of $150 just for coming..... I was in a hurry to get it done and therefore went ahead. The able repair person figured out what the problem was in 3 min , got it fixed in another 5 and then spent 5 min to do the admin .... on a tablet, written and I had to pay $70 more including the tax...

I called and explained what the issue was with my microwave. One of the rack supports was sparking and blackened. They said that the service charge of $110 would go towards the labour. The service tech came in, opened the door and said it wasn't worth repairing He didn't give me any options, charged me $110 + HST and left within 5 mins. You would think they could have given me an indication on the phone that those symptoms were likely not worth repairing. I will never use this service again. It was recommended by Camco which is GE's service partner. Terrible service.

I had a Viking fridge repaired on August 7th because the freezer and fridge stopped cooling. My warranty was 90 days; on the 95th day the same problem occurred. When I called to ask if someone could come out to take a look, because I was 5 days out of warranty I was asked to pay for the service call.

I was extremely disappointed with the customer service not to mention that I don't think the problem was fixed properly to begin with. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Avoid this company! My wife called them to service our Samsung dishwasher that stopped working. The technician arrived on time and was friendly, but could not fix anything. He was confused by a wire on the bottom of the washer, and sent his supervisor the pic - he was also confused by this wire and could offer no help. The technician's only feedback was to call an electrician, as he was stumped by this "extra" wire. We spent $110 for absolutely nothing. We called Head Office asking them to send us a copy of the picture so we could send this mysterious wire to a proper electrician, and even after requesting the image twice, we received nothing - not to mention, we spent 12 minutes on hold before anyone even bothered to answer the call. This was despite making it clear that a broken dishwasher was a big problem for us, as we have newborn twins and many bottles to wash. The receptionist took my info and pretended to care about our situation, and 4 days later...still no picture (I'd have taken another pic myself, but it involved removing the washer and a side panel, and I'd already spent $110...might as well get something for it!)

We hired a much more competent company the next day, and that mysterious wire turned out to be part of a normal dishwasher installation. The new company had us up and running within 35 minutes, and charged me less than these guys did for accomplishing nothing.
