Terrible customer service! Stay away! Their contract will deceive you and if you try to object they will hang up the phone on you. Be wary of this company. Looks like we aren't the only ones with problems judging by the other reviews.

After our contract expired we were told by this company it had renewed automatically and we would have to pay the difference.
We wanted to change because their monitoring is from Montreal. They have no local monitoring.

Watch out for Henderson Security's hidden automatic renewal in their contract. We signed on for 3 years of home monitoring security. When we called prior to our 3 year anniversary to cancel, we were told that we were automatically being renewed for another year as we did not provide 3 months notice prior to the 3 year anniversary. Our options were to pay for another year of monitoring or take a 40% penalty on the amount owing. We were told that it is in the contract. If you look in the fine print they stipulate that....TRICKY and DECEIVING because in no way did they notify us that it was automatically going to renew. The sales person did not tell us this when we signed up either. They hope that if you do read the small print that you will forget about it so that they can slip it past you!!

Also, after we had new windows installed we needed a .10 cent part that went missing. In the past, we had this happen and we went in and picked up the part for free. When it happened this time we were told over the phone that Mr. Henderson doesn't like to give anyting away for free and that it would be a $100 part!! Hmmm, that's funny, we found it later at the dollar store for $1.00.

As far as the monitoring goes, they did call us when the alarm went off.

Henderson security is a very good company that provides that added feeling that someone is always there. We have had a quick call every time there has been a issue like a power failure or a door that may open when the alarm is on. They are professional and always on top of things. Would recommend for sure!!
