Making our backyard a better living space
The patio area in our backyard, adjacent to the 50-year old house, had not been touched for more than 40 years. Obviously, this area lost its qualities: patio stones stopped being levelled, a quite steep incline towards the house had been creating accumulation of water during heavy rains, grass could easily grow between stones ... to add to the grief, we had two leaks in the basement on the span of five years - so, we knew there should be a crack in the foundation.
Otto and his company addressed all our griefs in full. For one, thanks to the manually dug 10-foot trench, his people discovered and then beautifully repaired a large crack in the foundation. For another one, they completely replaced all layers in the patio area and levelled it properly, at the same time reusing old patio stones and adding bordering pavers.
Otto himself was always ready to help but his people knew their craft well. Still, it was very nice to see the owner playing a very important role in the whole process.
The whole project took only two and half days! Amazing work and a very high quality .
