Brent Harper Window & Door Installations

Promised to bring an assistant (which I was paying for) and brought his very young son instead. Did not measure some of the openings correctly. (but it was "my fault") Of all the contractors working on my property over the last 30 years, he is the only one that took advantage of my good will.

I have a walkout basement that is also a deck for my main floor. the patio door for this deck was replaced. However, Brent did not wrap the door with a membrane to ensure if the water penetrated underneath the door that it would not flow into my basement. Lack of focus on details has costed me a few thousand( resulting from the fix and the basement work) more whereas if he used $80 in Blueskin and passed that charge onto me, it would have been a complete job.

We had 7 windows installed. Brent was fanastic. He was responsive and showed up when scheduled. The work he did was excellent....very fast and efficeint. Lastly, his pricing was very fair.

Brent came to install a large north facing window in our home. We went to several other companies and they told us not to do it because of the stucco on the exterior of the home, but we wanted a window that could open during the summer months. The window was installed and 1 year later all the caulking cracked and the window leaked, warping the existing frame and causing some water damage.

We called Brent and he said he would come to fix the problem. No show- no call to even let me know he wasn't coming. Then two days later after I called again, he said he would come first thing in the morning. Once again a no-show! I was so displeased that I had to cancel another appointment with my infant son that I decided to write this review. Think twice please about trusting Brent with your home.

Brent is that rare contractor who is friendly, timely, considerate and competitively priced. Brent did an amazing job installing our windows, but the best part is how nice he is to work with. Brent shows up when he says he will, is terrific to deal with in person, and calls if traffic means he will be even slightly late. All in all, Brent is a great person to have involved in any project.
