White Shark Window Cleaning

I am pleased with this company's work and customer service. Despite having a bit of trouble organising the appointments, Derek came through, did as promised, and all with a smile on his face. Throughout the process, I also had contact with other team members who were always pleasant. Thank you!

Crew came onsite. I asked for a quote for specific work. I was given a quote for the work to which I agreed to (no other terms and conditions were given).

1) I got invoiced an extra amount for extra time that it "apparently" took to complete the work; and
2) Part of the work was unsatisfactory.

I called their customer service and complained that there was no indication given that extra effort would incur extra cost and that I was unhappy with the work. I heard from someone who indicated that the crew simply took more time to complete the work and encountered difficulties for which I should have been quoted an hourly rate. How is this my fault? I agreed to a quote which I am more than happy to pay for AS LONG AS THE WORK COMPLETED IS SATISFACTORY. Had I gotten an honest and realistic quote, I would have had the option to decline the work.

Beware. Ask questions about their definition and scope of the work, what happens if they take longer and what fees are associated with extra work.

Sadly and for the above reasons, I cannot recommend this contractor.

I like the company and they seem to have done a decent job, but I take great issue with the following: they only give you a range of dates that they are coming (apparently only certain times of year) and will in fact REFUSE to call you the day of or give you any further notice of their arrival to do the job.

This is really annoying if you for example have a dog that barks like crazy and/or napping children (and therefore need to be prepared, in advance, for people to come service the house), or are a night shift worker... among other scenarios. I had to deal with a completely exhausted child due to this ridiculous rule.

I can't fathom why the workers or SOMEONE can't take the literally 45 seconds to call beforehand for the customers who do request it (as I'm sure not all of them do).

Seems really unreasonable to me, and shows that they don't value their customer's needs - particularly those with young children and/or other unique needs. I'll be looking for a company that will provide me notice of their arrival in the future.

I have used White Shark to clean my windows at least once a year over the past 10+ years. Their customer service is excellent. The cleaners are efficient, polite, reliable and always do a good job. On the one occasion when they did damage to one of my old storm screens, they made arrangements to have it repaired promptly by a skilled repair person, without any argument. I have recommended them to neighbours and friends.

Last Friday I hired White Shark to clean all of the exterior windows of a three story building - Business and 2 apartments. When Julie quoted $85 + HST I thought it was very reasonable. This company is a joy to work with, from the estimate through completion.
The crew of Wes, Daniel, and Travis was great! They dodged rainstorms and finished my job on the scheduled day! The crew was incredibly efficient, hard-working, organized, friendly, and VERY professional. The windows are immaculately clean. The crew even did the inside of the ground-floor business' window as a courtesy! The pricing for White Shark's services makes it affordable for people
that cannot clean their own windows - interior and exterior. I told a
disabled friend about White Shark and he was thrilled. I highly recommend White Shark to anyone and everyone looking for the best window cleaning service available in Toronto.

I hired White Shark to paint my soffits (3rd level), and clean, and paint my eaves. They arrived on-time two days in a row, did the work for a fixed fee, and did an excellent job. The manager called two days later to ensure I was satisfied. No mess what-so-ever was left behind.

I intend to hire them again next year.

To me White Shark is a company with the highest level of customer service I have experienced in Toronto. Their work, whether window or eaves cleaning, is conscientiously carried out, in a timely and courteous way, and the worksite left in perfect condition and the windows sparkling! In addition, contact with the office either by telephone or email is efficient and polite. I would highly recommend using any services provided by White Shark.

Window Sharks did a great job in the spring and visited again today (Oct 15 2015). A different crew but an excellent job. Very thorough, professional and within the time window they committed to. Will call them again for the spring.

I have engaged White Shark for residential window and eavestrough cleaning for several years. The office staff are responsive and helpful, the cleaners punctual, courteous, efficient, and leave the property spic and span. I recommend also the skillful quality and carefulness of their exterior painting service.
