My A/C broke down and the furnace was just as old. 18yrs, and so I decided to replace both units. They took care of everything start to finish. Very professional job and fair price.
I found my go to, for HVAC needs.

My a/c failed during the recent heat wave. I contacted 2 companies for estimates. A big company and Ultra. I decided to change out the equally old furnace at the same time. The big company's quote was all over the place, starting very high, dropping when I didn't sign up right away and then going back up when their salesman told me that I needed extras (which I didn't). Eric from Ultra was the exact opposite. Very friendly and straight forward. He gave me a price that was $3000 less than the big company for the same equipment. It was installed in 1 day. His installers did a great job. They took out the old equipment, installed the new system and cleaned up after they were done. They tested it and showed me how it worked. I did not have a heat pump before so this was all new to me. It looks great and works well. Thank you for a pleasant and stress free purchase.

We called Ultra Built-In Systems to assess and replace our furnace and AC. Eric was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. He exudes trustworthiness. The crew that Eric sent was the phenomenal Kam and his team. They were very good. The installation and the interaction went without a snag. Eric had explained that the furnace vent which was a black ABS pipe had to be replaced with a PVC pipe as this was a safety requirement and part of the new code. Though I was concerned this would mean considerable damage to our ceiling and tried to retain the black pipe Eric insisted that it had to be changed. Kam and his team went to work and carried that out with minimal damage to the existing structure. The previous installers had taken a long route to the exterior. Kam worked out a direct route through the concrete. So they needed just one drilled hole which they, themselves, later covered. The only tiny bit that we queried was that on their website they advertised 10 years labour and parts warranty. We got the 10 years parts warranty but had to buy an additional 5 years to make up a 10 yr labour warranty. However, based on our experience I would recommend Ultra built-in Systems any day. Eric owns the company and is a lovely person to work with. He was very clear with providing us a best fit and cost effective solution. The crew cleaned up before they left. Kam also gave us a bunch of good tips.

When initially engaged with Ultra Built In Systems, everything was positive. I ended up installing a high-end tankless water heater, with features for recirculating. But after being ensured everything was installed properly, I never got the feature working. Additional calls ended up with broken promises. I basically paid $6500 for the same result as when I was renting for $40 a month.

I also requested an install for a central humidifier and after over a month of not getting anything done, I finally gave up. Very disappointed.

We had a sudden furnace breakdown. I had used the services of Ultra before and did not hesitate to contact them once more. I spoke to Eric (Owner) and explained that we were in need for an immediate service call as we about to leave on vacation the next day (Sunday). He sent his son, Paul who arrived within 2 hours or less and quickly diagnosed the problem and made the repair. They really saved the day, allowing us to go on holiday and not worry about our house.
